CHRISTIANITY

NEXT

CHRISTIANITY is the truest and the highest and the best religion as it is based on the belief that the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the ONE GOD and the ONLY GOD and the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD and that HIS teachings alone are of truly divine origin.

...This (the LORD JESUS CHRIST) is the true GOD, and eternal life.
I John 5:20

Christianity is an open-faced religion and nothing is to be done under cover of secret (St. Luke 8:17).
Christianity is the only true bond to establish the true relationship of love, trust, faith, belief and affection with the ONE GOD and the ONLY GOD and the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. It is the only true bond connecting all people of the world with the ONE GOD and the ONLY GOD and the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

In Christianity alone there is "the true worship of the most high GOD and the TRUE GOD", the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Most holy love, most holy faith, most holy trust, most holy belief, most holy affection with the most high GOD are involved only in Christianity. Always keeping in line with the words of the most high GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is very essential in Christianity.

In Christianity, the true worship of the most high GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the only worship. In Christianity, no other worship is allowed. In Christianity, the worship of the most high GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is for the spiritual needs and bodily needs; and it is for the inheritance in heaven, the kingdom of GOD.

Christianity is full of good and bright heavenly doctrines of the ONE GOD and the ONLY GOD and the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST and it reflects the ONLY HEAVENLY GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Christianity highly develops the inner man, the soul as well as the outer man, the body. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!

Now, Christianity alone provides a substitute to bear the sins of mankind. CHRIST is the ONLY ONE who is able to bear our sins and save us.

“Who HIS own self bare our sins in HIS own body on the tree (cross), that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes (wounds) ye were healed.”
I Peter 2:24
“Neither is there salvation in any other (other than JESUS CHRIST): for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12
“If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
 I John 1:9

Again, Christianity alone provides boldness for sinful people to come before the most holy GOD.

“Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
Hebrews 4:16
Our LORD JESUS CHRIST said,

I am the way, the truth, and the life: ...”
St. John 14:6

Hence, you must know that the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is the ONLY ONE who can save you, and you must throw yourself altogether on the mercies of GOD. As you know your hopeless condition as a sinner, cry out to GOD to save you.

“And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, GOD be merciful to me a sinner.”
St. Luke 18:13

Our LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST wants you to come to HIM in total humility, acknowledging your sinfulness and your helplessness, trusting totally in HIM. You must know that no one is good enough in himself/herself to go to heaven, the kingdom of GOD. You must also know that your sins are sending you to hell, the fiery lake of burning sulphur. So, you do not love your sins; repent of your sins; cry to GOD for HIS mercies; pray to GOD sincerely for an intense hatred for your sins, with broken-heart and with tears and with humility; pray to GOD sincerely for your forgiveness of sins, salvation from sins, and for getting all other spiritual experiences, with broken-heart and with tears and with humility. Then our GOD will surely supply all your needs according to HIS riches in glory by CHRIST JESUS.

“But my GOD shall supply all your need according to HIS riches in glory by CHRIST JESUS.”
Philippians 4:19

The Holy Bible warns us that the end is very soon. The end of the world and the return of CHRIST will be very soon.
“For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”
I Thessalonians 5:3
All is vanity. The end of all things is near.
Are you ready for HIM?

“Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.”
Ecclesiastes 1:2
“But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.”
I Peter 4:7

1. GOD IS LOVE

  “...God is Love.”
I John 4:8

Now, GOD the FATHER and GOD the SON and GOD the Holy Spirit are the ONE GOD and the ONLY GOD and the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Thus GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is Love. The GOD of Christianity is Love.

Further, GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is love. This divine nature of GOD makes HIM uniquely GOD. Also, HIS Spirit, HIS person, HIS life, HIS self-existence, HIS unchangeableness, HIS infinitude and HIS unity make HIM uniquely GOD. Without these divine things, GOD would not be GOD. So, we must love and worship GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, as HE truly is.

The LORD JESUS CHRIST came into the world and died for us. HIS death was vicarious. The atonement of CHRIST is the vicarious atonement. HE died for our benefit and HE died in our place. HIS death was a substitutionary sacrifice. HE died as a substitute for sin. HE died in the place of the Christian; HE died in the place of the church; and HE died in the place of the whole world. Thus HIS love is very great.

“But GOD commendeth HIS love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, CHRIST died for us.”
Romans 5:8
“...CHRIST also loved the church, and gave HIMSELF for it.”
Ephesians 5:25
“But we see JESUS, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that HE by the grace of GOD should taste death for every man.”
Hebrews 2:9

There is no love like the love of JESUS. HIS love is perfect. HIS love gives joy to our hearts. HIS love gives life to our souls. HIS love enlightens our eyes. HIS love neither fades nor fails. HIS love is very precious. HIS love is boundless. HIS love is pure and free. HIS love is divine. HIS love is wondrous. HIS love is redeeming and saving. HIS love is ever the same. HIS very sweet voice of love came down from the cross at Calvary.
FATHER, forgive them; for they know not what they do. …”
  St. Luke 23:34

There is no heart like the heart of JESUS. HIS heart is filled with tender love and compassion. There is no word like the Words of JESUS. HIS Words are filled with divine life, full of comfort, joy and courage. HIS Words are very precious to our souls. HIS Words are coming out of HIS most loving heart.

JESUS is the Lover of our souls. JESUS loved us and HE gave HIMSELF for us. HIS love seeks us. HIS love calls us. HE is seeking and calling to save and redeem us. HIS love flows as an endless river from the cross at Calvary to all eternity. There is none like JESUS. No one can find any, like our LORD JESUS CHRIST. We are so glad that JESUS loves us and HE loves even us. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!

The love of GOD for sinful mankind is the love which no one deserves:

“Herein is love, not that we loved GOD, but that HE loved us, and sent HIS SON to be the propitiation for our sins.”
I John 4:10
“Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.”
Romans 13:10
“Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. Charity never faileth: ...”
I Corinthians 13:4-8
'Charity' means 'love'.

2. RELIGION OF LOVE

"Love GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST" and "Love your neighbour as yourself" are the two great commandments of Christianity.

Our LORD JESUS said,

“Thou shalt love the LORD thy GOD with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”
St. Matthew 22:37-40
“If any man love not the LORD JESUS CHRIST, let him be Anathema Maran-atha.”
I Corinthians 16:22
‘Anathema’ means  ‘devoted to destruction or curse’.  'Maran-atha’  means  ‘our LORD is come’.
In Christianity everyone should "OVERCOME EVIL WITH GOOD" (Romans 12:21). The life and death of the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the greatest example of this ethical truth. To overcome evil with good, the LORD JESUS has said,
“But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.”
St. Matthew 5:39

Our LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST alone is the epitome of divine love and the source of all true love. GOD's love was clearly proved at Calvary when JESUS CHRIST died for all our sins. Love is an attribute of GOD; and love is a description of GOD's being. GOD's love is absolute; GOD's love is never-changing. Since GOD first loved us, we ought to love GOD first and we ought to love others as well. Since GOD so loved us, we ought to love GOD greatly and we ought to love one another. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

“Beloved, if GOD so loved us, we ought also to love one another.”
I John 4:11
“But GOD, who is rich in mercy, for HIS great love wherewith HE loved us.”
Ephesians 2:4
“Now our LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF, and GOD, even our FATHER, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace.”
 II Thessalonians 2:16

3. BLESSINGS OF CHRISTIANITY

Christianity is the simplest and the broadest and the deepest and the highest religion. In Christianity only we can get spiritual blessings or heavenly blessings: the repentance from sins, the forgiveness of sins, the salvation from sins, the redemption from sins, the experience of divine goodness, the born-again or born-from-above experience, the holiness and holy life, the spiritual growth, the anointment with the Holy Spirit, the first resurrection of the saints, the thousand years rule of the saints with CHRIST, the kingdom of GOD or the kingdom of heaven, etc. In Christianity, we find the second resurrection of the sinners, the judgment, hell, etc.

In Christianity, we see the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST as the great benefactor; HE is the great defender; HE is the great intercessor; HE is the great comforter; HE is the great helper; HE is the great healer; and HE is the great loving guide.

In Christianity only we find the love of GOD, hope, faith, peace, humility, truth, righteousness, holiness, goodness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering, gentleness, happiness and joy.

Christianity is not for a particular race, but it is for all races. Hence, there is no race in Christianity and it belongs to the whole world and it cannot be localized.
Further, Christianity is not an artificial one, but it is the most real one and it is the most genuine one. Hence, there is no artificiality in Christianity.

Again, Christianity is not an accidental or incidental one, but it is a well planned one by GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Hence, in Christianity everything is purposive.

Furthermore, Christianity is not an obscure one, but it is an obvious one to everyone who seeks the truth sincerely. Hence, there is no obscurantism in Christianity.

Again, Christianity is purely moral. Hence, there is nothing immoral in Christianity; there is no immorality in Christianity; and there is no sexual-immorality in Christianity.

Further, Christianity is not concerned with politics. Hence, there is no party apparatus in Christianity and there is no party politics in Christianity. Christianity avoids political confrontations. "Render therefore unto Caesar the things which be Caesar's, and unto GOD the things which be GOD's" (St. Luke 20:25) is, obviously, very significant here. Christianity separates Church and State.

Again, Christianity is a religion of freedom. Christianity gives inner freedom. It makes one free from sins, free from fears, free from worries, free from sicknesses, free from irritations, free from all devils, free from judgment, free from hell, etc. Christianity gives great happiness and great joy in heart and in body and in spirit and in soul. It gives great joy and great happiness in the Spirit of CHRIST or in the Spirit of GOD, the Holy Spirit.

“And the disciples (Christians) were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost (the Holy Spirit).”
Acts 13:52

Besides, Christianity gives eternal joy and happiness; Christianity gives eternal bliss; Christianity gives eternal kingdom; Christianity gives eternal reign with GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. In the eternal state, there will be no tears, death, sorrow, crying or pain. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

“And GOD shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4

“And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”
Isaiah 35:10

4. CHRISTIAN LIFE

Our LORD JESUS CHRIST has sacrificed HIMSELF on the cross for the salvation of the whole world. Hence, the Old Testament sacrifices are not at all necessary to anyone. But, everyone should present his body a living sacrifice to GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Thus, the Christian life begins with total commitment and irrevocable presentation of oneself to GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. As the human body is the instrument of all sins, it should be irrevocably submitted and surrendered to GOD to obtain a sinless body to live a sinless life; it should be presented to GOD to live a righteous and holy life.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of GOD, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto GOD, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of GOD.”
Romans 12:1-2

In Christian life, there is a strong belief in GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. In Christian life, there is a true union between GOD and man. Such union can be found nowhere else. In Christianity, the great compassion of GOD enters strongly into all HIS people and there is remedy for all human ills present in their hearts.

The true relationship between GOD and man is similar to the true relationship between father and child. Now, GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the FATHER in heaven. HE is the heavenly FATHER and men are HIS children. GOD HIMSELF will be with HIS children and be their GOD. HE will wipe away all tears from their eyes and console them. So, everyone must live with HIM as HIS child in perfect love and confidence. The child should always live with the heavenly FATHER. The heavenly FATHER knows all about HIS child; HE is able to give him all he needs, even before he asks for it.

“And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.”
Isaiah 65:24

When the child repents of his sins, the FATHER forgives his sins; the FATHER gives everything to him in prayer, even though the FATHER knows everything beforehand. The child knows that the FATHER is always with him and near him to fulfil his needs. If anyone believes in the FATHER and lives as HIS child, then he will not be in isolation or desolation or despair.

In Christianity prayer life is very essential; fear of GOD is very essential; practice of good works is also very essential; always keeping the word of GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is very essential; always being led by the Spirit of GOD, the Holy Spirit is very essential; always expecting the kingdom of GOD, the kingdom in which all darkness and evil will be put away, is very essential; always having the fear about HIS terrible judgment is very essential; and always having the fear about the horrible hell is very essential. Glory be to GOD!

In Christianity there is no communist ideology or socialist ideology. Christianity is not a heavy yoke and it is not burdensome. Our LORD JESUS CHRIST lovingly calls,

“Come unto ME, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take MY yoke upon you, and learn of (from) ME; for I am meek (gentle and humble) and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For MY yoke is easy, and MY burden is light.”
St. Matthew 11:28-30

To rejoice along with HIM and to live as a child with the FATHER in heaven, HE is calling everyone to come to HIM. HE is calling everyone to worship HIM only and to serve HIM only.

“...Thou shalt worship the LORD thy GOD, and HIM only shalt thou serve.”
St. Matthew 4:10

In Christianity the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is the only source of all good things; HE is the only channel of all good things; HE is the only goal of all good things. So, everyone should worship HIM to receive all good things from HIM.

“For of HIM, and through HIM, and to HIM, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.” Romans 11:36

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
James 1:17

In Christianity there are no pilgrimages; there are no rituals; there are no traditions; there are no myths and legends; there are no occult or magic practices; there are no occult rituals; there are no magic powers; there are no mesmerizing performances; there are no witchcrafts; there are no witch doctors; there are no medicine men; there are no shamans; there are no enchanters; there are no witches; there is no fatalism; there is no shamanism; there is no hypnotism; and there is no hypocrisy.

Again, in Christianity there are no mysterious nature-worship cults; there are no bizarre or very strange claims; there is no sorcery; there is no enchantment or enticement; there is no divination; there is no bargaining; there are no unwanted or outward regulations; there is no idolatry; there is no worship of the Madonna (the Virgin Mary); there is no worship of the saints; there is no worship of the angels; there is no worship of the evil spirits or devils or demons; there is no worship of the celestial bodies; there is no worship of the terrestrial species; there is no worship of the extraterrestrial beings; there is no worship of wood; there is no worship of stone; there is no worship of silver; there is no worship of gold; there is no heathen worship; there is no pagan worship; and there are no irrational practices. In Christian life, there are no such practices. In Christianity, there is no lie; there is no abomination; there is no impurity and there is no immorality. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

Every Christian must be a committed Christian. A personal decision should be made for a committed Christian life. A personal decision will make us pay the cost. A committed Christian's decision will influence others. To a committed Christian, GOD reveals HIMSELF at the right time and at the right turning point. A committed Christian should have a right concept and he/she should develop his/her commitment.

Christian life is a committed life. Christian life is a dedicated life. Christian life is a pledged life. Christian life is a committed life in support of Christian doctrine and Christian faith and Christian cause. Christian life without commitment is not at all a Christian life.

Sobriety is very essential for a committed Christian life. Humility is also very essential for a committed Christian life. Commitment is the foundation of obedience. Total commitment is the foundation of total obedience. Obedience is also very essential for a committed Christian life.

Every committed Christian should be humble; every committed Christian should be obedient; every committed Christian should consider himself/herself worth nothing; every committed Christian should take the form of a servant (Philippians 2:7-8). The mind of every committed Christian should be the same as that of CHRIST JESUS (Philippians 2:5).

A committed Christian should not be a double-minded person. He should not be a slothful person. He should not be a dabbler. He should not make any wrong commitment.

Our LORD AND SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST clearly showed us a totally committed life. Elias (Elijah) and Moses had a totally committed life. Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego had a totally committed life. The apostle Paul and the apostle Peter and other apostles of the LORD and many others had a totally committed life.

Commitment is the result of a very firm resolution. It does not depend on one's abilities. It starts with little things. It begins and grows in an atmosphere of wrestling (struggle). Be patient and single minded during harsh circumstances resulting from commitment.
The world will take notice of our commitment. The world will be annoyed by our commitment. The world will question our commitment. The world will test our commitment. The world will test the depth, strength, power, holiness, righteousness and faithfulness of our commitment. We must submit ourselves to GOD and always rely on GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST and keep our whole trust in HIM. Then, our commitment will bring glory not only to GOD but also to ourselves. The end of our committed Christian life will be heaven, the kingdom of GOD. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!

Everyone should commit his/her ways and works unto the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST and trust in HIM.

“Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in HIM; and HE shall bring it to pass.”
Psalm 37:5
“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.”
Proverbs 16:3

Christians should not be worldly; they should not be stained by worldliness; they should be pure and undefiled (James 1:27). They should watch and pray so that they will not fall into temptation (St. Matthew 26:41). They should be vigilant and prayerful (Colossians 4:2). The heart of endurance is prayer. Prayer is the heart of enduring trials. If we want to endure, we must always depend on GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

Christians should be watchful and ready that they may be caught up by Christ secretly (St. Matthew 24:42-44). They should be faithful and wise (St. Matthew 24:45-47) and they should live by faith (Hebrews 10:38).

Christians should not be fleshly-adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like are fleshly sins (Galatians 5:19-21). Christians should flee from such fleshly sins. Those who practise such things will not inherit the kingdom of GOD.

Christians should be filled with spiritual fruits such as love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance (Galatians 5:22-23), righteousness and truth (Ephesians 5:9), lowliness of mind (Ephesians 4:2; Philippians 2:3), mercy (Philippians 2:1), godliness (II Peter 1:6), holiness (Ephesians 1:4; Colossians 1:22) and purity (St. Matthew 5:8). They should live in the Spirit and they should walk in the Spirit (Galatians 5:25). If we walk in the Spirit, then we will not fulfil the lust of the flesh (Galatians 5:16).

Christians should be holy and without blame before our LORD JESUS CHRIST in love (Ephesians 1:4). Their love must be without hypocrisy (Romans 12:9). They must have fervent love for one another, for "love will cover a multitude of sins" (I peter 4:8). They should love their neighbours as themselves (St. Matthew 19:19). Above all things, they should put on love, which is the bond of perfection (Colossians 3:14). The love of GOD has been poured out in our hearts by the HOLY SPIRIT (Romans 5:5). The love of GOD is GOD HIMSELF (I John 4:8, 16). If we love GOD we will do whatever HE tells us to do. And HE has told us from the very first to love each other (II John 5). And this is love: that we walk according to HIS commandments. As you have heard from the beginning, HIS commandment is that you should walk in love (II John 6).

Christians should honour their father and mother (St. Matthew 19:19). They should not provoke their children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the LORD (Ephesians 6:4). Children should obey their parents in the LORD, for this is right and they should honour their father and mother (Ephesians 6:1-2). Husbands should love their own wives and not be bitter toward them (Colossians 3:19). They should give honour to their wives (I Peter 3:7). Wives should submit themselves to their own husbands in the LORD (Colossians 3:18). Christian marriage is sacred and binding.
Servants should be obedient to their fleshly masters (Ephesians 6:5). Masters should give their servants what is just and fair, knowing that they also have a Master in heaven (Colossians 4:1). The wages of the labourers should not be kept back by fraud (James 5:4).

Christians should submit themselves to their rulers in the LORD; they should honour the king (I Peter 2:13-17). Now, the higher authorities are established by GOD (Romans 13:1). So, we must obey civil government, but when it goes contrary to the explicit commands of GOD, we must obey GOD and be ready to suffer the consequences (Acts 5:29).

Christians should not swear at all (St. Matthew 5:34-37). They are the salt of the earth (St. Matthew 5:13). They are the light of the world (St. Matthew 5:14). They should lay up treasures in heaven (St. Matthew 6:19-21). They should love their enemies (St. Matthew 5:44). They should not serve GOD and riches (St. Matthew 6:24).
Christian life toward others including GOD's saints or GOD's ministers should be as follows:

“Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned (affectionate) one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring (giving preference) one another. Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.”
Romans 12:9-10, 13, 15-16

Christian life toward GOD should be as follows:

“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the LORD.”
Romans 12:11

Christian life toward ourselves, the believers should be as follows:

“Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer.”
Romans 12:12

Christian life toward the persecutors and enemies should be as follows:

“Bless them which persecute  you: bless, and curse not. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is MINE; I will repay, saith the LORD. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him (with the Bread of Life- the Word of GOD); if he thirst, give him drink (Living Water- the LORD's Gospel): for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head (symbol of purification). Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Romans 12:14, 17-21

Christian life, in general, before all men should be as follows:

“Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.”
Romans 12:17

In these five aspects, Christian life is complete and proper.

Christians should flee from fornication or sexual immorality (I Corinthians 6:18). Christians should flee from idolatry (I Corinthians 10:14). Worshipping idols or images or statues or photos is idolatry. Covetousness is also idolatry (Colossians 3:5). Loving anyone or anything more than our GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is idolatry. Covetous person is an idolater (Ephesians 5:5). Christians should flee from youthful lusts (II Timothy 2:22). Christians should flee from love of money, for the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil (I Timothy 6:10-11).

Further, Christian life is a good fight of faith; the good fight of faith against Satan and his henchmen (I Timothy 6:12; II Timothy 4:7; Ephesians 6:12). Again, Christian life is a heavenly race and we must run this race successfully (I Corinthians 9:24). We must run this heavenly race to win the heavenly prize, the kingdom of GOD (Hebrews 12:1-2). The crown of righteousness (II Timothy 4:8), the unfading crown of glory (I Peter 5:4) and the crown of life (James 1:12) will be a portion of the glory for the overcomers' enjoyment in the manifestation of GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST and HIS kingdom, the kingdom of GOD or the kingdom of heaven (II Peter 1:11).

Christian life is a sanctified life (I Corinthians 1:2). Christian life is a justified life; Christian life is a glorified life (Romans 8:30). Final glorification is the ultimate step in GOD's complete salvation in which GOD will completely change or transfigure our mortal lowly body, conforming it to the resurrected glorious body of our LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST (Philippians 3:21). The Christian faith is not merely local or regional but worldwide (Romans 1:8). The Gospel of GOD produces godly character and noble conduct in Christians by faith (Colossians 1:6). The Christian faith must grow more and more and the love, everyone of us has for each other must increase abundantly (II Thessalonians 1:3). Glory be to GOD!

5. SELF-SURRENDER

Christianity is centred on the crucifixion of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.  Christianity focuses or concentrates on the crucifixion of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. The Christian faith and love are on the person of the Saviour, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Now, the centre of the Christian faith is in our LORD JESUS CHRIST's vicarious atonement. Our LORD JESUS CHRIST laid down HIS most glorious life for us and for the whole world, by HIS self-surrender. Thus, Christianity is centred in our self-surrender and in laying down our lives for HIM and for the brethren.

“Hereby perceive we the love of GOD, because HE laid down HIS life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.”
I John 3:16
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
St. John 15:13

Again, Christianity consists in loving the Master, the LORD JESUS CHRIST and following HIM in faith and love. In Christianity only we can see the divine power of GOD. The divine power of GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is coming down and entering into HIS people.  Hence, the divinity of our divine GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST will be clearly reflected on HIS people. In our self-surrender and in laying down our lives for JESUS CHRIST, the divinity of GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST enters into us. In Christianity only we can see the divinity of the ONE GOD and the ONLY GOD and the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

6. ESSENCE

In Christianity only we see the good Saviour-no parallel to HIM; we see the good Redeemer-no parallel to HIM; we see the good Master-no parallel to HIM; we see the good Comforter-no parallel to HIM; we see the good Shepherd-no parallel to HIM; we see the good Physician or Doctor-no parallel to HIM; we see the Prince of Peace-no parallel to HIM; we see the Wonderful GOD-no parallel to HIM; we see the good Counsellor-no parallel to HIM; we see the Mighty GOD-no parallel to HIM; and we see the everlasting FATHER-no parallel to HIM. HE is the only unparalleled and the only incomparable. HE is too good, too great, too mighty, too powerful to have an equal.

Our LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is healing the sick; HE is giving rest to the weary and heavy laden; HE is living among HIS people; HE is living among the poor and the sick and even among the outcasts from society.

Our LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is the GOD of strict justice and great holiness. Though HE is so kind, HIS judgments will happen very soon over guilty people or sinners. HE can cast both soul and body into hell, the fiery lake of burning sulphur. HE is the sole authority to cast sinners into hell. But HIS blessed people will inherit HIS kingdom, the kingdom of GOD. HE will give HIS everlasting kingdom to HIS people. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

The essence of Christianity is in upholding the authority of HIS church, the Christian church. HIS church is the congregation of HIS saved people. HIS church is the "body of CHRIST". As HIS church is considered to be HIS body, so individual members are seen as parts of HIS body or seen as members of HIS body. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

“...And the LORD added to the church daily such as should be (were being) saved.”
Acts 2:47
“Now ye are the body of CHRIST, and members in particular (individually).”
I Corinthians 12:27

Our LORD JESUS CHRIST loved the church and gave HIMSELF for the church. HE sanctifies and cleanses the church with the washing of water by the word. 'The washing of water' means 'immersion Baptism in water'. The ultimate purpose of JESUS CHRIST's love for the church is to present the church to HIMSELF a glorious church, without stain or spot or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.

“...CHRIST also loved the church, and gave HIMSELF for it; That HE might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That HE might present it to HIMSELF a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”
Ephesians 5:25-27

The saved people or the believers of GOD or the true Christians have come to the city of the living GOD, the heavenly Jerusalem, to an innumerable company of joyful heavenly angels, to the general assembly and church of the first-born, whose names are written in the Book of life in heaven; to GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST the righteous Judge of all and to the spirits of men and women made perfect (Hebrews 12:22-23). This is the superior and final state of Christians. This is the superiority and finality of Christianity. This is the main essence of Christianity.

7. ONLY UNIVERSAL RELIGION

The founder of Christianity is the ONE who is living by HIMSELF; HE is the ONE who is living in HIS everlasting kingdom, the kingdom of GOD or the kingdom of heaven; HE is the ONE GOD and the ONLY GOD and the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

When HE was in this world, what HE preached was, in fact, HIMSELF. HE embodied HIS glorious preachings in HIS life perfectly.  Hence, the founder of Christianity, the LORD JESUS CHRIST did a very great work in establishing it as the Universal Religion.

Christianity is being opened to all the people of the world. Christianity is being opened to all that are bound by sins and iniquities. It gives freedom to sinners and it fills the hearts of sinners with divine hope, divine joy, divine faith, divine love, divine views, divine contentment and divine peace.

Further, Christianity unites all people in one brotherhood under the loving GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST who is the FATHER of all.  Hence this makes Christianity the only true universal religion. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

“One GOD and FATHER of all, ...”
Ephesians 4:6

In CHRIST as well as in Christianity, there is neither Jew nor Greek (the Gentiles); there is neither bond nor free; and there is neither male nor female.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond (slave) nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in CHRIST JESUS.”
Galatians 3:28

Thus, Christianity, the religion of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is free to spread out in all directions rapidly. Christianity, the only true universal religion is free to spread out among all the races of the world rapidly. Christianity, the religion of the ONE GOD and the ONLY GOD and the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD is the religion of scientific accuracy without any error. It accurately reflects the ONE GOD and the ONLY GOD and the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, HIS everlasting kingdom, etc. Since HIS kingdom of heaven or HIS everlasting kingdom is assuredly coming, everyone should be prepared for HIS kingdom of heaven. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

Now, Christianity is the universal religion; Christianity is the only universal religion; and Christianity is the only true universal religion. Hence, the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST must be the desire and faith of all mankind; and the religion of JESUS CHRIST, Christianity must be the religion of all mankind; and all the people of the world must put their trust in this only true universal religion, Christianity. In Christianity, the ONE GOD and the ONLY GOD and the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is found not merely outside HIS people but within the hearts and minds of HIS people; HIS people will be HIS sons and daughters; and HE will be their FATHER. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

“...As GOD hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their GOD, and they shall be MY people. And will be a FATHER unto you, and ye shall be MY sons and daughters, saith the LORD Almighty.”
II Corinthians 6:16, 18

8. CONTINUATION OF JEWISH RELIGION

The GOD of Christianity is the LORD GOD of the Old Testament.  The LORD GOD of the Old Testament is JEHOVAH or YAHWEH or YHWH. HE is the self-existent Creator of all things; HE is the Creator of the earth and the skies; HE is the Creator of all living things; HE is the creator of mankind; and HE is the GOD of heaven. Thus the GOD of Christianity is the LORD GOD or JEHOVAH or YAHWEH or YHWH. The LORD GOD or JEHOVAH or YAHWEH is GOD, the FATHER. HE is the LORD of hosts and HE is the LORD Almighty. HE is the ONLY TRUE GOD of the Jews or the Israelites and HE is the ONLY TRUE GOD of the Christians.

Now, the Saviour of Christianity is the MESSIAH (CHRIST) of Jewish prophecy. MESSIAH is a Hebrew word for CHRIST. Thus, MESSIAH is the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST. Again, the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is GOD, the SON. Thus the MESSIAH is GOD, the SON. The MESSIAH or the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is the ONE GOD and the ONLY GOD and the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD. Hence, the MESSIAH or the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD of the Christians and HE is the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD of the Jews or the Israelites. Thus, Christianity is the continuation of the Jewish Religion.
Again, the Israelites or the Jews were wonderfully delivered from Egypt by JEHOVAH or YAHWEH or YHWH, and they were wonderfully guided and protected on their journey towards Canaan, the Promised Land by JEHOVAH or YAHWEH or YHWH. The following verses in the Holy Bible of the holy LORD clearly reveal that the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is JEHOVAH or YAHWEH or YHWH, the ONE GOD and the ONLY GOD and the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD who delivered, guided, and protected the Israelites. The pre-existence of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is also revealed in the following verses. The LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST or JEHOVAH or YAHWEH or YHWH is the divine deliverer, the divine guide and the divine protector. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

“Moreover, brethren, I would not (do not want) that ye should be ignorant (unaware), how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea; And did all eat the same spiritual meat (food); And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was CHRIST.” I Corinthians 10:1-4

HE is the Rock, HIS work is perfect: for all HIS ways are judgment: a GOD of truth and without iniquity, just and right is HE.” Deuteronomy 32:4

“The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my GOD, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler (shield), and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.”
Psalm 18:2

Further, Moses was the Old Testament prophet, who knew the LORD JESUS CHRIST face to face. See Deuteronomy 34:10; St. Matthew 17:1-8. Moses was looking ahead to his reward, the kingdom of GOD or the kingdom of heaven. He was eagerly looking ahead to receive the reward from CHRIST. So, he chose to be afflicted along with the people of GOD rather than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a short time, and he regarded great reproach for the sake of CHRIST or JEHOVAH or YAHWEH or YHWH as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt.

“By faith Moses, when he was come to years (came of age), refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of GOD, than to enjoy the pleasures (passing pleasures) of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of CHRIST greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had (looked) respect unto the recompence of the reward.”  Hebrews 11:24-26

Further, GOD the FATHER and GOD the SON and GOD the Holy Spirit are ONE. This ONE and ONLY GOD is a being infinitely wise and good. HE is the SAVIOUR of the world. HE is the MESSIAH.  Hence, all people of the world should trust HIM. All people including Jews or Israelites must put their trust in this ONE GOD and this ONLY GOD and this ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Whoever calls on the name of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST will be delivered or saved (Joel 2:32). Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same LORD over all is rich unto all that call upon HIM. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.
Romans 10:12-13

9. HISTORY [FROM ADAM TO CHRIST]

CHRISTIANITY is the continuation of the first-ever religion and the history of the first-ever religion is clearly explained below.

9.1      THE CREATION

In the very beginning, there was GOD only. This ONLY GOD is the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST. Then HE created the heaven and the earth.  (Genesis 1:1)  HE is the Creator of all things (I Corinthians 8:6). HE is the Creator of all heavenly bodies and HE is the Creator of all earthly things. HE is the Creator of mankind. HE is GOD, the Word. GOD, the Word is the LORD JESUS CHRIST (I Timothy 3:16). And GOD, the Word was manifest in the flesh. He came in this world in the name of JESUS CHRIST.

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD. And the Word was made flesh (became flesh), and dwelt among us, (and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the FATHER,) full of grace and truth.”
St. John 1:1, 14

GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST created man in HIS own image, in the image of GOD and in HIS own likeness; male and female HE created them (Genesis 1:27). The name of the first man is Adam; and the name of the first woman is Eve. The LORD GOD planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there HE put them.

“And the LORDGOD formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”
Genesis 2:7

Our LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST has created the man with a living soul and also the woman with a living soul. Thus, HE has created the mankind each with a living soul. HE has created all things (Colossians 1:16-17). HE has created all things for HIS pleasure. HE has created the mankind for HIS pleasure. HE has created us for HIS pleasure. So, HE loves us and HE wants us. This is HIS divine purpose in creating us.

“…THOU hast created all things, and for THY pleasure they are and were created.”
Revelation 4:11

But, HE has not created hell for us, the mankind. Hell, the everlasting fire was created for the devil and his angels. It was not created for man!

“…Everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels.”
St. Matthew 25:41

Our LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST doesn't want anybody to go there.  It is not HIS purpose for men to go there.
Now, the whole duty of mankind is:

“...Fear GOD, and keep HIS commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”
Ecclesiastes 12:13

9.2      THE WORSHIP OF GOD

Then GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST commanded HIS people to serve or worship HIM only with fear and trembling. Thus, they (Adam and Eve) worshipped GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST face to face with fear and trembling. They worshipped GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST only, with fear and trembling.

“Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.”
Psalm 2:11

“...Thou shalt worship the LORD thy GOD, and HIM only shalt thou serve.”
St. Matthew 4:10

9.3      THE FALL OF MANKIND

The LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST commanded Adam and Eve that they should not eat the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day that they eat of it they will surely die. When they trespassed the commandment of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST by eating the fruit of the forbidden tree, spiritual death occurred to them. So, they were separated from GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

In the Holy Bible, we find three deaths. They are: (1) Physical death-both soul and breath (spirit) leave the body (Genesis 35:18; I kings 17:17-22); (2) Spiritual death-separation of the individual from GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Spiritual death occurs when anyone lives according to his/her flesh or fleshly sins. For if you live according to the flesh you will die (Romans 8:13). All the unsaved people are under spiritual death. All sinners are under spiritual death; and (3) Eternal death-separation from GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST for ever. This is also called the second death, the fiery lake of burning sulphur (Revelation 21:8). The final estate of the lost person (sinner) in the lake of fire is eternal death.

When they trespassed the commandment of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST by eating the fruit of the forbidden tree, spiritual death occurred to them, and they (Adam and Eve) were separated from GOD and they began to hide themselves from the most glorious presence of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST in shame and guilt.

“And the LORD GOD commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.” Genesis 2:16-17

“And the serpent (Satan) said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. And they heard the voice of the LORD GOD walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD GOD amongst the trees of the garden.”
Genesis 3:4, 6, 8

Then they were driven out from the most glorious presence of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST. Abel was the second son of Adam. He was a righteous man (St. Matthew 23:35). He feared and worshipped GOD. By faith he offered to GOD a more excellent sacrifice than his brother, Cain (Hebrews 11:4). GOD accepted Abel's offerings. So, Cain murdered his own brother, Abel. Thus Adam's first son became the very first murderer. Human violence and man's inhumanity began from Adam's first son. Arrogance, contempt and wickedness began from Adam's first son. And the other sins also began to enter into the world from the second-generation.

Enos was the third from Adam. Due to the sins of mankind, in the third-generation, the most glorious presence of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST was hidden and the people began to call upon and worship the most holy name of the LORD. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!

“And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.”
Genesis 4:26

9.4      WICKEDNESS OF MANKIND

In the tenth-generation, sin filled the earth; sin flooded the world; the wickedness and sins of mankind were great on the earth, and every imagination or intent of the thoughts of their hearts was only evil all the day and the earth was also corrupt before the LORD GOD and the earth was filled with violence. They forgot to call upon (worship) GOD. They forgot the LORD GOD, their Creator. They were against the LORD GOD, their Creator. So, the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST was very sorry for HE had made man on the earth and it grieved HIM very much at HIS heart.

“And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that HE had made man on the earth, and it grieved HIM at HIS heart. The earth also was corrupt before GOD, and the earth was filled with violence. And GOD looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth.” Genesis 6:5-6, 11-12

Since sin flooded the world, the LORD GOD determined to destroy the whole world by a flood (Genesis 7:11-24).
9.5      GOD COMMANDED NOAH TO MAKE THE ARK

But, Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST.  He was a just man and blameless in his generations and he walked with GOD. He had a wife and three sons. His sons were married and they had no children.

“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the LORD. ... Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with GOD.”
Genesis 6:8-9

Now, due to the wickedness and sins of mankind, the LORD GOD decided to destroy the earth by flood. The LORD GOD commanded Noah to make an ark. The LORD GOD said to Noah,

“The end of all flesh is come before ME; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.”
Genesis 6:13-14

Again, Noah was a righteous man and he was a man of obedience and faith. Till then, he had never seen rain (Genesis 2:5). Yet, moved with godly fear, he made the ark and everything just as the LORD GOD had commanded him. He took every kind of food that was to be eaten and stored it as commanded by the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST.

“Thus did Noah; according to all that GOD commanded him, so did he.” Genesis 6:22

“By faith Noah, being warned of GOD of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.”
Hebrews 11:7

9.6      NOAH PREACHED RIGHTEOUSNESS

Further, Noah was a preacher of righteousness. He preached righteousness to his generation. And he preached about the destruction of the ancient world. But the people abused him, mocked at him and scoffed at him. Only his household accepted his righteous preachings of the LORD GOD. So Noah, his wife, his three sons and his sons' wives, totally eight, were saved from the great destruction by the flood. The sons of Noah are Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

“And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly.”
II Peter 2:5

9.7      THE GREAT FLOOD
GOD determined to judge or convict mankind for its sinfulness. So, HE warned the evil world through Noah. The sinful human beings were given 120 years after this warning, before the judgment of the Flood actually came (Genesis 6:3). Then, obeying the instructions of the LORD GOD, Noah and his household entered into the ark to escape the waters of the flood. They that went into the ark went in male and female of all living things, as the LORD GOD had commanded Noah, and the LORD GOD shut Noah in. After seven days the LORD GOD sent rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, to wipe from the face of the earth every living creature HE had made. The waters rose greatly on the earth and all the high mountains under the entire heavens were covered. The water level was 15 cubits (or about 22.5 feet) higher than the highest mountain. Then, Noah was six hundred years old.

“And Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth. And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood. Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth, There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as GOD had commanded Noah. And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth. In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened. And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights. Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered. And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.”
Genesis 7:6-12, 20, 24

The waters prevailed and increased greatly, and the ark floated on the surface of the water. Everything on the dry land that had the breath in the nostrils died; men and animals and the creatures that moved along the ground and the birds of the air were wiped from the earth. Only Noah was left alive, and those with him in the ark.  The waters prevailed upon the earth for a hundred and fifty days.

“All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died. And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.”
Genesis 7:22-23

9.8      THE WATERS RECEDED-NOAH AND FAMILY left THE ARK

Then the LORD GOD remembered Noah and every living thing in the ark. The waters continued to recede, and then the earth was completely dry. The ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat. Then, the LORD GOD commanded Noah to come out of the ark with his household and with all the living things in the ark. They all came out.  The LORD GOD blessed all living things, so that they might abound on the earth, and be fruitful and multiply on the earth (Genesis 8:17).  Praise The LORD! Alleluia! See Genesis 8:1-19.

“And Noah went forth, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons’ wives with him: Every beast, every creeping thing, and every fowl, and whatsoever creepeth upon the earth, after their kinds, went forth out of the ark.”
Genesis 8:18-19

9.9      NOAH OFFERED BURNT OFFERINGS TO THE lord GOD

Noah and every living thing in the ark came out of the ark. And since Noah walked with GOD, he built an altar to the LORD GOD, and he offered burnt offerings on the altar. The LORD GOD regarded this sacrifice as a sweet savour (a smell of satisfaction). Noah called upon (worshipped) the name of the LORD GOD. But he worshipped no idols or any other gods. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

“And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; ...”
Genesis 8:20-21

9.10     THE LORD GOD’S COVENANT WITH NOAH

Then the LORD GOD blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them:

“Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish (fill) the earth. And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered. And you, be ye fruitful, and multiply; bring forth abundantly in the earth, and multiply therein.”
Genesis 9:1-2, 7

Further, the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST made a covenant with Noah. HE had set HIS rainbow in the clouds, the sign of the covenant between the LORD GOD and the earth. In HIS covenant with Noah, GOD promised that HE would never again use a universal flood to judge the world. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

Our LORD GOD said to Noah,

“This is the token (sign) of the covenant which I make between ME and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations: I do set MY bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. And it shall come to pass, when I bring a cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: And I will remember MY covenant, which is between ME and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood to destroy all flesh.”
Genesis 9:12-15
‘Bow’ means ‘rainbow’.

Now, everyone should understand that the earth will not be destroyed by the flood again; but it will be destroyed by fire, due to the sins of the world. The fire of GOD’s jealousy will devour the whole world.

“Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the LORD’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of HIS jealousy: for HE shall make even a speedy riddance (end) of all them that dwell in the land.”
Zephaniah 1:18
“Looking for and hasting (hastening) unto the coming of the day of GOD, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?”
II Peter 3:12

9.11    THE DESCENDANTS OF NOAH

After the flood, Noah lived three hundred and fifty years (Genesis 9:28). All the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years, and then he died (Genesis 9:29). We are all the descendants of Noah. All the people of the world since the Flood are the descendants of the three sons of Noah. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

“And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: ... These are the three sons of Noah: and of them was the whole earth overspread (populated).”
Genesis 9:18-19

9.12    ONE LANGUAGE

Now, all the people of the world had one language or dialect. They had one common speech. As they moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there. They did not wish to scatter over the face of the whole earth or they did not wish to fill the earth. Shinar was in the region of Babylon. There they planned to build a city and a tower, the top of which might reach to the heavens. They wished to bind their strength with the city and the tower. They thought that the tower might serve as a rallying point and a symbol of their fame. See Genesis 11:1-5.

But, they did not want to fill the earth to fulfil GOD's commandment to Noah and his family. See Genesis 9:1. To fill the earth they should settle in all the earth. To settle in all the earth they must be scattered. The LORD GOD wished better divisions of people and not one group of people or one large collection of people.

9.13    CONFUSION OF LANGUAGES

When the people began to build the city and the tower, the LORD GOD came down to see the city and the tower. All people were in one group and they spoke the same language and they thought that nothing they proposed to do would be restrained from them.

Now, the LORD GOD confused their language, so that they could not understand one another's speech. So they stopped building the city and the tower. The LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST scattered them from there over all the earth. Praise The LORD! Alleluia! Now there are more than three thousand languages and dialects.

“And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded. And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech. So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city. Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound (confuse) the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.” Genesis 11:1, 5-9

In verse 6, 'Let us go down', the plural does not refer to angels, but is a plural of HIS majesty.

9.14    ABRAHAM (ABRAM)

Now, Abraham (his former name was Abram) was the twentieth-generation from Adam or the eleventh-generation from Noah. The wife of Abraham was Sarah (her former name was Sarai). Sarai was barren and she had no children.

Abraham was a native of Ur of Chaldees (Chaldeans). It was located at about ten miles west of the Euphrates river near the Persian Gulf, some two hundred miles south-east of Bhaghdad.

Terah was the father of Abraham. Terah took his son Abraham and his grandson (his son Haran's son) Lot, and his daughter-in-law (his son Abraham's wife) Sarai; and together they set out from Ur of Chaldees to go to the land of Canaan. But when they came to the place Haran, they settled there. This Haran was in Syria. Terah died in Haran and Abraham was in Haran. See Genesis 11:27-32.

9.15    THE CALL OF ABRAHAM

When Abraham was seventy-five years old, the LORD GOD appeared to Abraham and HE established a glorious covenant with him. The LORD GOD said to Abraham (Abram),

“Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee: And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
Genesis 12:1-3

So, Abraham departed from Haran as the LORD GOD told him.  When he set out from Haran, he took his wife Sarai and his brother's son Lot, and all their possessions they had gathered, and the people they had acquired in Haran; and they set out for the land of Canaan, and they came to Canaan. At that time, Canaanites were in the land. See Genesis 12:4-6. Canaanites were the descendants of Ham, Noah's son (Genesis 9:18).
The obedience and faith of Abraham was so great.

“By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went (where he was going).” Hebrews 11:8

Then the LORD GOD appeared to Abraham again and said,

“Unto thy seed will I give this land: ...”
Genesis 12:7
‘Seed’ means ‘descendants’.

There Abraham built an altar to the LORD GOD who appeared to him and called upon (worshipped) the name of the LORD GOD.

“...There he builded an altar unto the LORD, and called upon the name of the LORD.”
Genesis 12:8

Abraham called upon (worshipped) the name of the LORD GOD.  But he worshipped no idols or any other gods. Praise the LORD! Alleluia!

9.16    ABRAHAM WENT TO EGYPT FROM CANAAN

Due to severe famine, Abraham went to Egypt with Sarai and Lot from the land of Canaan. Then they returned from Egypt. Abraham was very rich in cattle, in silver, and in gold. Lot had flocks, and herds and tents. Since their possessions were so great, they were not able to stay together. And quarrelling arose between the herdsmen of Abraham and the herdsmen of Lot. See Genesis 12:10; 13:1-7.

9.17   LOT WENT TO WICKED SODOM

Then by the request of Abraham, Lot chose for himself the whole plain of the Jordan and set out towards the east. The whole plain of the Jordan was well watered and it was like the garden of the LORD (the garden of Eden). Lot went and lived in Sodom in the plain of Jordan. The men of Sodom were exceedingly wicked sinners before the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST. See Genesis 13:8-13.

9.18     THE BATTLE OF THE KINGS

Then the king of Shinar, the king of Ellasar, the king of Elam and Tidal king of nations (Goyim) went to war against the king of Sodom and the king of Gomorrah and the king of Admah and the king of Zeboiim and the king of Zoar-four kings went to war against five kings. The four kings seized all the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah and their provisions, and they went away. They also carried off Lot, Abraham's brother's son, who dwelt in Sodom, and his possessions.  See Genesis 14:1-12.

9.19   ABRAHAM RESCUED LOT

When Abraham heard that Lot had been taken captive, he armed his three hundred and eighteen trained servants born in his household and went in pursuit as far as Dan. Abraham recovered all the goods and brought back Lot and his possessions, together with the women and the other people. The might of Abraham was clearly revealed to everyone. See Genesis 14:13-16.

When Abraham returned after defeating the four kings, the king of Sodom came out to meet him. The king of Sodom said to Abraham (Abram),

“Give me the persons, and take the goods to thyself.”
Genesis 14:21

But Abraham (Abram) said to the king of Sodom,

“I have lift up mine hand unto the LORD, the most high GOD, the possessor of heaven and earth, That I will not take from a thread even to a shoelatchet (sandal strap), and that I will not take any thing that is thine, lest thou shouldest say, I have made Abram rich.”
Genesis 14:22-23

Abraham refused to take anything for him. He was very pure before the king of Sodom. He had no covetousness. He demonstrated his total allegiance to the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST.

9.20    MELCHIZEDEK BLESSED ABRAHAM

Melchizedek was the king of Salem. He was the priest of the most high GOD. He brought out bread and wine, and blessed Abraham.  He blessed Abraham (Abram), saying,

“Blessed be Abram of the most high GOD, possessor of heaven and earth: And blessed be the most high GOD, which hath delivered thine enemies into thy hand. ...”
Genesis 14:19-20

Melchizedek blessed Abraham. The lesser person was blessed by the greater.  Besides Abraham paid tithes to Melchizedek. These indicate Melchizedek's superior priesthood. Thus, Melchizedek was superior to Abraham.
“And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.”
Hebrews 7:7
