GOD'S MINISTERS OR SERVANTS
62. GOD’S ministers are those who show both the Strait gate and the Narrow way to heaven
Our LORD JESUS CHRIST opened HIS most holy mouth and said,
“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.”
St. Matthew 7:13-15
The strait gate as well as the narrow way refers to the way of holiness and righteousness. This way leads to eternal life (heaven). Only the righteous and holy people will walk in this way. Only a few people are being led in this good way. Our LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST enables men to find this gate or this way, through HIS ministers.
The wide gate as well as the broad way refers to the sinful and filthy way. This way leads to eternal destruction (hell). All sinners are being led in this way. Many people are being led in this wrong way or bad way.
Now, beware of false prophets is a warning given by our LORD JESUS CHRIST. These prophets or preachers are those who have denied or twisted the truth of the glorious gospel of GOD. They appear in sheep's clothing; they look like lambs. But in reality they act like ravenous wolves; they act like savage wolves. These savage wolves will not spare the people; they will not spare the souls.
GOD's ministers are those who show both the strait gate and the narrow way. This gate leads to eternal life. This way leads to eternal life, the kingdom of heaven or the kingdom of GOD. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!
False preachers should not be taken into houses, and they should not be greeted or welcomed. Anyone who welcomes or greets any false preacher shares in his wicked or evil deeds.
“If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him GOD speed: For he that biddeth him GOD speed is partaker of his evil deeds.”
II John 10-11
63. GOD’S ministers are those who are eligible to be with the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST
The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the ONLY GOD and the most holy GOD. GOD's ministers should be with HIM always. Hence, they should be wholly holy in their whole spirit and soul and body. To preach and show the glad tidings of the kingdom of GOD, the servants of GOD should be holy in all their words and deeds.
“And HE (the LORD JESUS CHRIST) ordained twelve, that they should be with HIM, and that HE might send them forth to preach.”
St. Mark 3:14
64. GOD’S ministers are those who receive the power and authority of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST to cast out devils and to cure diseases
The LORD JESUS CHRIST gave HIS disciples (HIS servants) power and authority over all devils and to cure all diseases. Hence, HIS power and authority are very essential for the ministers of GOD to do HIS ministry.
“Then HE called HIS twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases. And HE sent them to preach the kingdom of GOD, and to heal the sick.”
St. Luke 9:1-2
“And when HE had called unto HIM HIS twelve disciples, HE gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.”
St. Matthew 10:1
“And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”
St. Matthew 10:7-8
65. GOD’S ministers of the New Testament (New coveNANT) and GOD’S ministers of the Old Testament (Old CovEnant)
God's ministers of the New Testament are new in quality, having better spiritual blessings. The New Testament ministry is of the Spirit. The Old Testament ministry was of the letter. 'The letter' means 'the law of Moses'. The letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
The Old Testament ministry was of death, written and engraven in stones; it was of condemnation; it was of less glory; and it was for a specific time only. The New Testament ministry is of life; it is not of condemnation; it is of righteousness; it is of exceeding glory; and it is a lasting one. Thus, the ministers of GOD of the New Testament are more glorious than the ministers of GOD of the Old Testament (II Corinthians 3:6-12).
GOD's ministers are HIS witnesses (Acts 26:16). They should preach the glorious Gospel as a witness (testimony) to all the nations (St. Matthew 24:14). By the glorious Gospel of GOD, they close the sinful eyes of the sinners and open their holy eyes to see the divine spiritual things. This glorious Gospel of GOD is a key to open the holy eyes and to close the sinful eyes. By the glorious Gospel of GOD, they turn the sinners from sinful darkness (death) to divine light (righteousness and life) and from the evil power of Satan, the devil to the holy power of GOD. By the glorious Gospel of GOD, they guide the sinners to receive repentance from sins, forgiveness of sins, salvation from sins and all other spiritual experiences and to receive the divine inheritance, the kingdom of heaven (Acts 26:17-18).
66. GOD’S Ministers are those who are PROMOTING the ministry of reconciliation
Sin caused hostility between GOD and mankind. Our LORD GOD JESUS CHRIST eliminated this hostility by the cross at Calvary.
To reconcile means to make peace between GOD and mankind. Reconciliation is the act whereby GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST has eliminated the hostility between HIMSELF and mankind.
Now, GOD's ministers who have been reconciled to GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST have been given the ministry of reconciliation (II Corinthians 5:18). And they have also been given the word of reconciliation. So, GOD's ministers must implore the people of the world on behalf of CHRIST: Be reconciled to GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
“To wit (That is), that GOD was in CHRIST, reconciling the world unto HIMSELF, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation … We pray (implore) you in CHRIST’s stead (behalf), be ye reconciled to GOD.”
II Corinthians 5:19-20
To reconcile between HIM and mankind, GOD made HIM who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in HIM we might become the righteousness of GOD.
“For HE hath made HIM to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of GOD in HIM.”
II Corinthians 5:21
3. SEVERE WARNINGS
The LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST will judge the worthless and unprofitable ministers of GOD very strictly. They will receive greater condemnation or greater punishment. The greater punishment is that they will be tied hand and foot and they will be thrown into hell, the lake of eternal fire; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. In the parable of the marriage feast, our LORD JESUS CHRIST has said as follows:
“Then said the king to the servants, bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
St. Matthew 22:13
‘Outer darkness’ refers to ‘hell’.
James, the apostle by the Holy Spirit has warned that not many of them should presume to be masters or teachers or GOD's ministers or GOD's servants, since they will receive the greater condemnation, the greater punishment in hell.
“My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.”
The apostle Paul has also warned by the Holy Spirit.
“Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost (the Holy Spirit) hath made you overseers, to feed the church of GOD, which HE hath purchased with HIS own blood. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.”
See also the severe warnings in Psalm 50:16-22 in point 50 under the Characteristics of GOD's Ministers.
So, everyone or every servant of GOD should think about the following things and live a holy life, according to the will of GOD.
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.”
3.1 FALSE PROPHETS
Nowadays, false prophets are prevalent, whereas GOD's true prophets are in the minority. False prophets appear in sheep's clothing but are in reality ravenous wolves. They look like lambs but act like wolves. They are deceivers. Our LORD JESUS CHRIST has warned as follows:
“beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Not every one that saith unto ME, LORD, LORD, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of MY FATHER which is in heaven. Many will say to ME in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from ME, ye that work iniquity.”
St. Matthew 7:15-23
St. Matthew 7:21 serves a warning: the kingdom of heaven is not for any preacher or teacher or pastor or evangelist or prophet or apostle, or self-professed Christian, or deacon or bishop, or for any other, but "HE THAT DOETH THE WILL OF MY FATHER WHICH IS IN HEAVEN" only will enter into the kingdom of heaven or the kingdom of GOD. 'MY FATHER' refers to the LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF.
3 .2 WOMEN AND MINISTRY
When our LORD JESUS CHRIST was in Galilee, many women followed HIM and ministered unto HIM. Hence, women could do the work of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST; women could do the ministry of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST; women could be the servants of GOD.
“And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed JESUS from Galilee, ministering unto HIM: Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedee’s children.”
St. Matthew 27:55-56
The apostle Paul has told about sister Phebe, a servant of the church at Cenchrea.
“I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea: That ye receive her in the LORD, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.”
The women servants of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST should be wholly holy in their whole spirit and soul and body. They should always care about the things of the LORD to please the LORD. Hence, they should be unmarried; they should be virgins. These women servants of the LORD JESUS CHRIST are not prohibited to teach or speak in the churches to an audience consisting of women. Since all things should be done in a fitting and orderly way, the women servants of GOD should not stand and preach on pulpits in churches.
“Let all things be done decently and in order.”
I Corinthians 14:40
“Let all things be done unto edifying (for edification).”
I Corinthians 14:26
“For GOD is not the author of confusion (disorder), but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”
I Corinthians 14:33
There is a vast difference between a wife (married woman) and a virgin (unmarried woman). Their interests are vastly divided. An unmarried woman or virgin is concerned about the things of the LORD. Her aim is to be devoted to the LORD in both body and spirit. But a married woman is concerned about the things of the world-how she can please her husband. The women workers of the LORD JESUS CHRIST should be wholly holy in their whole spirit and soul and body.
“There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the LORD, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband.”
I Corinthians 7:34
“And the very GOD of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray GOD your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our LORD JESUS CHRIST.”
I Thessalonians 5:23
Now, the married women's primary ministry is that of child-bearing and that of nourishing and bringing up of children who will become godly adults. They should be spiritually saved from sin, by persevering in faith and love and holiness with chastity.
“Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.”
I Timothy 2:15
The apostle Paul has asked the married women to keep silence in the churches (congregations) of the saints. They are not permitted to speak in the churches; they are not permitted to preach in the churches; but they must be under obedience, as the law says. If they want to learn anything, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is shameful for a married woman to speak or preach in the church. Wives or married women should submit themselves to their own husbands in the LORD in everything.
“Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. And if they will learn anything, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.”
I Corinthians 14:34-35
“Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the LORD.”
Thus, the married women are strictly prohibited from preaching or speaking in the churches (congregations) of the saints.
The apostle Paul has again asked the married women to learn in silence with all submission in public worship services and they should not preach or teach in the churches or in the public worship services.
“Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.”
I Timothy 2:11-12
The prohibition against the married women teaching in the churches is restricted in Titus 2:3-5.
“The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of GOD be not blasphemed.”
3.3 THEOLOGICAL INSTITUTIONS
In the first century Christian church, there were no theological institutions or colleges or schools; there were no advanced Christian studies; there were no theological research centres; there were no theological educational courses; there were no seminaries; there were no theological training colleges; there were no degree or diploma or doctorate or philosophy holders in theology. Philosophy cannot be helpful to anyone. Philosophy has its origin in the basic principles of the world system. Philosophy is from the tradition of men. Philosophy is not of CHRIST. The Holy Bible warns,
“Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after CHRIST.”
‘After’ means ‘according to’.
This verse is a serious and severe warning to you and me. Let no one lead you away into evil as his prey by any sham or deception that he may recommend as philosophy drawn from elemental spirits of the world and not CHRIST for its content.
Now, heresy is a belief or opinion that is against the teachings of the church. A person who is guilty of heresy or heresies is a heretic. The heretics will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the sovereign LORD, JESUS CHRIST. The heretics' philosophy is in accord with the traditions of men. This philosophy is setting aside the commands of GOD. This philosophy is nullifying the word of GOD.
“For laying aside the commandment of GOD, ye hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things ye do. And HE said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of GOD, that ye may keep your own tradition. Making the word of GOD of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye.”
St. Mark 7:8-9, 13
Again, the heretics' philosophy is a hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on CHRIST. This false philosophy is coming from the world system. Besides, this philosophy is not coming from CHRIST. This false philosophy consists of many legalistic ordinances. This false philosophy consists of the commandments and doctrines of men. This false philosophy has an appearance of wisdom, with its self-imposed worship, its false humility, and its harsh treatment of the body. But it lacks any value in restraining sensual indulgence.
“Wherefore if ye be dead with CHRIST from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances, (Touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using;) after the commandments and doctrines of men? Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will-worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.”
Further, the heretics' philosophy with destructive heresies is seen in almost all the theological studies. What a pitiable thing it is! What a sorrowful thing it is!
“But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the LORD that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.”
II Peter 2:1-3
The message of false prophets and false teachers is the opposite of true revelation of GOD. They teach destructive heresies. They deceive GOD's people by these heresies; they themselves are deceived by these heresies; they themselves are deceived by their own teaching or preaching. They secretly introduce destructive heresies. These heresies (unorthodox teachings) will make an open denial of CHRIST HIMSELF. These false prophets and false teachers will reject CHRIST and HIS vicarious atonement. They will reject the way of truth. Therefore, they will experience destruction in hell; they themselves will be punished by their own teaching or preaching.
Further, a heretic is a subverted and sinful person; he is a self-condemned person. Warn a heretic once and then warn him a second time. After that, have nothing to do with him.
“A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject; Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.”
Again, in the first century Christian church, the apostles Peter and John were uneducated (unlettered) and untrained men (commoners). They were ordinary fishermen. They preached the gospel by the grace of GOD. They preached the gospel by the Holy Spirit of GOD. They did many signs and wonders by the grace of GOD. They did many signs and wonders by the power of the Holy Spirit. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!
“And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; ...”
One day Peter miraculously healed a lame man from birth. The man who was miraculously healed was a beggar and was over forty years old. After this miraculous healing, Peter and John were teaching and preaching the resurrection of the dead. While they were speaking to the people, the priests, the captain of the temple and the Sadducees came up to Peter and John. They seized Peter and John and put them in jail until the next day.
Then, Peter and John were brought before the high priest and others. When they saw the courageous and powerful speech of Peter and John, they realized that they were uneducated and untrained men. They were greatly astonished, and they took note of the fact that these men had been with JESUS. See Acts 3; 4:1-33; and 5:12-16.
“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with JESUS.”
Further, in the first century Christian church, GOD's ministers did their ministry by the gift of GOD's grace; they did their ministry by the power of the Holy Spirit. They were filled with the Holy Spirit; they were baptized with the Holy Spirit; they were anointed with the Holy Spirit; they were led by the Holy Spirit. They were strong in the grace of GOD; they lived in the grace of GOD; they breathed in the grace of GOD; they moved in the grace of GOD; they had their being in the grace of GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. See I Corinthians 15:10; Ephesians 3:7-8; and II Timothy 2:1 in Point No. 43 under the Characteristics of GOD's Ministers.
Furthermore, they preached by the grace of GOD; they preached by the Holy Spirit of GOD. They did many signs and wonders; they cleansed the lepers, healed the sick, raised the dead, and drove out devils by GOD's grace and by the Holy Spirit of GOD. Our LORD JESUS commanded HIS apostles,
“And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.”
St. Matthew 10:7-8
Again, GOD's ministers should be filled with the Holy Spirit; they should be baptized with the Holy Spirit; they should be anointed with the Holy Spirit. GOD's irresistible grace must abound in them. For this irresistible grace, they should humble themselves by fasting and continue to wait upon the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST in fervent prayers and worship, day and night without ceasing. In addition, they must adopt a strict celibate lifestyle to please the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST.
“...He that is unmarried careth for the things that belong to the LORD, how he may please the LORD.”
I Corinthians 7:32
The apostle Paul tells about his fastings (sufferings).
“In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.”
II Corinthians 11:27
Further, the cause of man's problem is lack of knowledge. Now, hear the warning words of our most merciful and most gracious LORD to HIS priests or servants,
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to ME: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy GOD, I will also forget thy children.”
But, why should you be destroyed? Why should you die? Why should you go to hell? Take heed of GOD's warning and live alive. the words of truth can certainly make you free. Our LORD JESUS says,
“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”
St. John 8:32
The priests who lived during the time of Hosea were bad. But, the priests of today are worse, and far worse. They have forsaken the truth of GOD. Thus they refuse to accept the authority, the established first century Christian church and are against it.
Apostasy is the abandoning of Christian religious beliefs and principles. An apostate is a person who abandons Christian religious beliefs and principles. Now, the apostate christendom grows more rapidly to make a newly appearing pseudo-christianized world. This sinful christendom is fully against the established first century Christian church.
“As they were increased, so they sinned against ME: therefore will I change their glory into shame. And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for their ways, and reward them their doings.”
Hosea 4:7, 9
Besides, many priests of today are leading the poor masses in Mariolatry (Mary worship), saints' worship, angels' worship, and other worships. Mary worship or saints' worship or angels' worship is idolatry. This is a great sin against the first commandment of our LORD GOD.
“Thou shalt have no other gods before (besides) ME. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: ...”
“For Israel slideth back as a backsliding heifer: ... Ephraim is joined to idols: let him alone.”
‘Israel’ and ‘Ephraim’ refer to the people of GOD.
Further, in these last days, there are so many deceptions. Therefore, our LORD JESUS again warns,
“...For the time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”
Now, Masons or Freemasons or 33 degree Freemasons are a secret cult of devil worshippers or Satanists. They pass through a Luciferian initiation. Most of them are members of Christian churches, and many clergymen belong to this group. Like Satan (Lucifer), these clergymen deceive with lies and cover-up. They praise worldly rulers; they promote and honour the non-spiritual authorities; they compromise (weaken) Christian beliefs and principles; they endorse false Bibles; they teach and preach blasphemous doctrines; they teach and preach the doctrines of devils; they tell hypocritical lies; they proclaim and publish blasphemous prayers; they publish blasphemous books, pamphlets, etc.; they do counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders; they approve and support blasphemous movies, songs, activities, etc.; they keep silence on crucial issues of abortion, homosexuality, Mariolatry, etc.
“Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron.”
I Timothy 4:1-2
“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.”
II Thessalonians 2:9-10
Now, in these last days, every church has its own doctrine, not the doctrine of GOD. Almost all churches are neglecting the first century Christian doctrine, the doctrine of GOD. Therefore, their theological educational institutions are also neglecting the first century Christian doctrine, the doctrine of GOD -the apostles' doctrine (Acts 2:42).
Nowadays, these theological educational institutions are producing heretics, apostates, heathens (persons who do not acknowledge the GOD of the Holy Bible, the LORD JESUS CHRIST), pagans (irreligious persons who worship many gods or no GOD at all, rather than the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST), and atheists (persons who believe that there is no GOD).
“...The things which the Gentiles (Pagans) sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to GOD: ...”
I Corinthians 10:20
“Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against HIS anointed (CHRIST), ...”
“The fool hath said in his heart, There is no GOD. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.”
Further, in various theological studies, they wrongly teach that there are four eternal dwelling-places for the people of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST. They wrongly teach that according to their rank or grade, some will dwell in Zion, the highest place (the place of
honour); some will dwell in new Jerusalem, the second high place; some will dwell in new heaven, the third high place; and some will dwell in new earth, the lowest place (the least important place like the outer court). By this wrong teaching, they are fully neglecting our LORD JESUS CHRIST's teaching about the kingdom of GOD or the kingdom of heaven. HE taught,
“Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
St. Matthew 4:17
“But seek ye first the kingdom of GOD, and HIS righteousness; ...”
St. Matthew 6:33
“Not every one that saith unto ME, LORD, LORD, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of MY FATHER which is in heaven.”
St. Matthew 7:21
Now, the kingdom of GOD or the kingdom of heaven is the only eternal dwelling-place for the people of the LORD JESUS CHRIST or the righteous or the saints. There our LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST will dwell with HIS people for ever and ever. There HIS people will dwell together in great peace and happiness for ever and ever. However, according to the sufferings and good works of the righteous or the saints in the name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, the glory of GOD in one saint will differ from another saint. More and more sufferings in the name of our LORD will bring more and more glory in heaven. More and more good works in the name of our LORD will bring more and more glory in heaven. More and more sufferings in the name of our LORD will bring more and more treasures in heaven. More and more good works will bring more and more treasures in heaven. The righteous or the saints will shine like the sun in the kingdom of GOD, their FATHER. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!
“Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their FATHER. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.”
St. Matthew 13:43
“But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal.”
St. Matthew 6:20
Now, in this world, there are a number of false sciences. Many people say, "We believe science." They have no belief in GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST and they are going towards hell, the fiery lake of burning sulphur. What a pitiable thing it is! In theological studies also, they teach false sciences. The Holy Bible warns us about being deceived by false sciences. St. Paul warns to avoid
“...oppositions of science falsely so called.”
I Timothy 6:20
He also warns to avoid
“...profane and vain babblings, ...”
I Timothy 6:20
By false sciences and by profane and vain babblings, the preachers will go astray from the faith and from the truth and from the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST.
Furthermore, in the first century Christian church, there were no theological educational institutions; there were no theological studies. GOD's ministers of the first century Christian church did their ministry by the grace of GOD and by the guidance of the Holy Spirit of GOD. In order to do HIS ministry, they had occupied their minds with the right things; they hurried themselves with the right activities-whatever they had learned or received or heard from the apostle or seen in him. These are sufficient for the ministers of GOD to do the ministry of GOD. Thus, no theological educational institutions are needed to do the ministry. No theological studies are needed to do the ministry of GOD. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the GOD of peace shall be with you.”
Now, anyone who breaks one of the least of the commandments of GOD and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches the commandments of GOD will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Unless his/her righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and Pharisees, he/she will certainly not enter into heaven, the kingdom of GOD. Our LORD JESUS CHRIST has opened HIS most holy mouth and said,
“Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, that except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.”
St. Matthew 5:19-20
3.4 FALLIBILITY OF THE PRESENT BIBLICAL EDUCATION SYSTEM
Everything in this world is all topsy-turvy. This world is in conflict with whatever the Holy Bible says.
The word of GOD says, "the wisdom of this world is foolishness with GOD" (I Corinthians 3:19). The thoughts of the wise people are in accordance with this world standard and they are futile and vain (I Corinthians 3:20). Regenerated wisdom is very different from worldly wisdom.
Most of the people in this world will say that man is innately good. But according to the Holy Bible no one is good.
The world tells us to rely on our own self. But the Holy Bible is against this.
The world says that the world is getting better. But the Holy Bible says that the world is doomed and there is a day of Judgment. So, do not love the world or anything in the world. For everything in the world-the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of the life-comes not from GOD, the FATHER but from the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the FATHER is not in him (I John 2:15-16).
With these points in mind, let us try to evaluate the condition of the seminaries in these last days.
Bible study and prayer have grown dry. Invaluable doctrines of the word of GOD have become only academic and have no real impact on the Bible School trainees. They have become detached from our precious and glorious LORD HIMSELF.
Worship sessions and services have become routine and dull formality. Calvary's impact on would-be-pastors and preachers has been waning day by day. Passion and emotion rather than reverence and honour are being emphasized. The purpose of Christian life is being forgotten and clutter and revelry are gaining ground on simplicity of the Christian life.
Having been convinced of this kind of situation, we thank our LORD JESUS CHRIST for guiding us along the same principles and doctrines of the LORD's church of the first century. So, we believe that our church is the continuation of the church originated by our LORD JESUS CHRIST.
For our ministry we have not established any seminary or Bible school, as such, since we are convinced of the futility of such organizations. We do not go in for theoretical instruction without any practical implication or involvement in the ministry. The curriculum of a seminary can benefit would-be-pastors and preachers only very minimally. Nowadays many people become pastors for various reasons. They choose the career of a minister in the church because they have been unable to get a job elsewhere. So as a last resort they decide to become a member of the clergy and become pastors and preachers after a course of studies on various aspects of religion. But in reality, not only are they very shallow in their knowledge of the Word of GOD but they don't bother to become a model to the believers. Their main aim is to become prosperous and lead a comfortable and luxurious life. No wonder, such people preach not the real gospel of our LORD JESUS CHRIST but various other gospels such as prosperity gospel, works gospel, social-uplift gospel, political-power gospel and so on. In the words of apostle Paul, they are the cursed (Galatians 1:8-9). They do not adapt the real way that leads to the kingdom of GOD nor can they help others to be saved. Isn't it shameful? That's why it is asked in the Holy Bible if the LORD will find real faith in this world at HIS coming (St. Luke 18:8).
We in our church depend only on our ONE AND ONLY LORD JESUS CHRIST for every need of ours. We desire to follow our LORD JESUS in whatever we do and we try to do whatever is pleasing to HIM and whatever will glorify HIS name.
First of all, we are convinced that we have to adopt a celibate lifestyle just as our LORD set a model to us so that we will not be encumbered by any family bonds in serving the LORD only. Those who believe in the truth of the word of GOD, when they decide to serve the LORD as propagator of HIS gospel they detach themselves free from their families and live on the church campus, never to return to their family or kith and kin, together with the other brothers who have already offered their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto GOD and who are not conformed to the pattern of the world (Romans 12:1-2).
They eat simple food, dress in simple cloth and lead a very simple life as sadhus or hermits, having done away with all the vanities of life. They have known that GOD resists the proud but gives grace to the humble (James 4:6). So, they humble themselves so that GOD could lift them up. Their humility cures all kinds of worldliness. They never grumble against one another but are patient with everyone. They encourage and implore one another. They always feel that they are a part of a greater whole which is the eternal church.
They are patient in tribulation, rejoice in hope and continue steadfastly in prayer. The LORD hears their prayers and guides them.
The LORD gives them a leader. The leader trusts totally in the power of our LORD JESUS CHRIST because
1. The leader is commissioned by the will of GOD.
2. The leader is fully committed to the truth of GOD.
The LORD gives him power to govern the church, the power to exercise discipline in it, the power to decide who shall be admitted into it and on what condition. The LORD provides food for all the household, the ministry of the word and sacraments.
The life of the leader is an example and a model of labour and hardship. All the coworkers feel that their leader provides the same kind of spiritual care as provided by our LORD to HIS disciples. He is a model to them by his zeal, tenacity in faith, integrity, accountability, humility, preaching, disciplining, protecting, overseeing, care and family affection and above all praying.
The inmates and coworkers of our church pray without ceasing for the following:
1. Trust and Faithfulness: In accordance with the glorious gospel of the blessed GOD, which has been mandated to the apostles (I Timothy 1:11-12).
2. Courage in sufferings: The workers in the ministry should remember the Passion of our LORD JESUS CHRIST (the suffering and death of CHRIST) and they should also remember the sufferings of apostle Paul (Acts 16:16-40) and have conviction and courage to withstand trials and tribulations.
3. Honesty and Purity: They should renounce the hidden things of dishonesty not only in the eyes of the LORD but also in their fellowship with others (II Corinthians 4:1-2). They should be an example to the believers in word, in behaviour, in charity, in spirit, in faith and in purity (I Timothy 4:12).
4. Gentleness and Love: They desire to be gentle unto all men, apt to teach patiently with unfeigned love (II Timothy 2:24) and to possess the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).
5. Blemishless conduct: Giving no offence in anything so that the ministry may not be blamed (II Corinthians 6:3) they should be blameless, upright and alert in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation (Philippians 2:15).
6. Simplicity of speech and unselfishness: They are careful to speak not with enticing words of man's wisdom but demonstrating the wisdom and power of the Holy Spirit (I Corinthians 2:1-5). They shun covetousness (I Timothy 6:10).
7. Humility and consideration for others: They are humble and not want to be a burden for others (Acts 20:33-35).
8. Self-sacrificing: They make themselves examples to others (II Thessalonians 3:9) in their self-sacrificing life.
9. The power of the gospel becomes effectual in all the believers of the fellowship (Ephesians 3:14-19).
10. Victory in the conflict with Satan and wicked people who oppose truth (Philippians 1:28-30).
11. The fulfilment of the promises of the LORD, particularly for the great promise mentioned in St. John 14:12.
12. The will of the LORD must be done (Acts 21:14) in the lives of the ministers. The will of the LORD must be done in earth, as it is in heaven (St. Matthew 6:10). Prayer is the only means that enables GOD's ministers not only to understand HIS will, purpose and ways but also to act in conformity with them.
13. The parental care and authority of the leader or the principal minister in training others.
3.5 HOW IS THE SEMINARY EMBEDDED IN OUR CHURCH
Our church ministry is to establish the Full Gospel of our LORD JESUS CHRIST in all its entirety and to train those who are called by GOD to serve and to establish Houses of Prayer and Centres of Worship and to print and publish Gospel Literature and to propagate the True Gospel in its entirety all over the world in obedience to the commandment of our LORD JESUS CHRIST without being entangled in or subjugated under the yoke of the doctrines of other denominations (St. Matthew 28:19-20; St. Mark 16:15-20).
The basic doctrines of our church consist of repentance from sins, forgiveness of sins, salvation from sins, divine conversion, regeneration, holiness, holy life, spiritual growth, baptism by full immersion in water in the name of the FATHER and of the SON and of the Holy Spirit, sanctification, divine healing, the LORD's Supper or the Holy Communion, dedication of children to GOD, marriage according to the law of the Holy Bible, the LORD's ministry, etc.
GOD, the FATHER revealed to this world, the great glory that was with HIM through our LORD JESUS CHRIST and therefore the ministers have to serve our LORD JESUS CHRIST and HIS church. Their ministry is revealed in preaching the gospel, healing the sick and in expelling the devils or demons and evil spirits. They are also concerned about the welfare of the others; helping those that have believed the gospel and saved, to be blessed with the anointing of the Holy Spirit. They are very particular that they depend completely on GOD and live by faith. They lead them to holiness through the Full Gospel of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. They are further guided in their walk towards perfect holiness so that they may make themselves ready for the Second Coming of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. To achieve this, the ministers continue to advise, intercede, make supplications and offer prayers.
The work given to each minister by GOD is different and specific (I Corinthians 12:5). There are apostolic ministry, prophetic ministry, evangelizing ministry, pastoral ministry and preaching ministry. And our LORD JESUS CHRIST becomes the focal point of the combination of all these aspects of the total ministry. HE is the sole guiding Spirit.
The ministers should be called and anointed by GOD to serve GOD. They should have given up all their assets and properties and whatever they had they should have disowned (St. Luke 14:26-27, 33; 16:13; St. Mark 10:28-30; Deuteronomy 18:1-2). GOD alone is their inheritance.
After entering into the ministry, the ministers will be tested and examined in the Rules and Regulations and Faith Advice of the church. While being tested they will be taught the Regulations of the church and the Workers' Advice and Regulations and the church Regulations and Faith Advice and Doctrines of the church and the Rules of Conduct and the discipline needed to a worker to serve in the ministry. Those, tested and found to be successful will have to live as confirmed bachelors and spinsters leading an austere and simple life. The ministers should be able to do all that they can to uphold and strengthen all Rules and Regulations.
Having given up and rejected all the lusts of the flesh and material attractions of the world, they should seek CHRIST and the welfare of HIS church and HIS ministry, until their death and in their death, whether or not they face trouble or tribulations, famine or
nakedness, peril or persecutions, poverty or riches, hunger or abundance, comfort or distress, disease or prosperity and should never be separated or alienated from the church and the ministry and the fellowship of the workers and the workers' group (workers' assemblage) but should stand firm, well-established in the church.
The ministers should live for others and not for themselves. They should live for the church and for the ministry and for the welfare of the workers in the church. Most importantly, they should live by faith. They should believe that GOD provides all the needs of the church. They should have faith in all these approved doctrines and should endeavour and strive to uphold and strengthen them. Every minister should fulfil his/her duties in respect of other ministers also, in accordance with the abundant grace of GOD.
All the men workers should consider all the women workers as morally upright sisters and all the women workers should in the same way consider the men workers as morally upright brothers and behave accordingly with absolute purity.
All the women workers will be under the charge and care of the mother (sister). They should inform the mother of their needs and have them supplied. The mother should find out the needs of the women workers and meet them. She should very carefully see that the women workers should not mingle with any man.
Unmarried and called to serve the LORD JESUS CHRIST, they should never seek to marry but remain unmarried until death. They are not entitled to marry. Those who have been married, if they have been called by the LORD JESUS CHRIST should live as confirmed bachelors and spinsters leading an austere and simple life.
The gospel of the kingdom will be preached by the ministers as a witness to all the nations (St. Matthew 24:14). So, to preach the gospel, the ministers should have a practical life and not a theoretical life. First of all, they should turn themselves as witnesses of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. For that, they should repent of their sins and they should get forgiveness of sins, salvation from sins and all other spiritual experiences. They should also have a steadfast prayer life.
Again, to do this ministry, they should obtain spiritual gifts including gifts of healing (I Corinthians 12:9) and spiritual fruits and they should always bear spiritual fruits to the people by their good deeds and actions. They should never become stumbling-blocks to others. Their preachings and teachings should be confirmed by their practical lives. Their preachings and teachings should not be theoretical, but practical.
No one can show his/her faith without his/her works (James 2:18). Faith without works is dead (James 2:26). The ministers should have faith that works. Without faith no one can do this ministry. Without faith it is impossible to please GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST (Hebrews 11:6). So, the ministers should live by faith (Hebrews 10:38). This faith is the practical faith and not the theoretical or the dead faith.
If any minister preaches or teaches that the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the divine healer (Exodus 15:26; Psalm 103:3), then he must witness about HIM that he/she has been healed by HIM without using any medicine or without taking any medical treatment. He/she must also witness about HIM that HE is the Only divine Healer from heaven or the Only divine Surgeon or Doctor from heaven.
Further, the ministers should live a holy and sanctified life. Without holiness no man can see the LORD (Hebrews 12:14). If any minister wants to preach or teach about holiness or holy life, then he/she should be a holy one. Without obtaining HIS holiness, he/she should not preach or teach about holiness or holy life. The ministers should have practical holiness and holy life and not theoretical holiness or holy life.
Besides, the ministers should be filled with the love of GOD. Without love, any minister of the LORD is nothing (I Corinthians 13:2). Since our LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is LOVE, HIS ministers also should live in the love of GOD (I John 4:8) and preach or teach HIS gospel.
Again, the ministers of the LORD JESUS CHRIST should be with HIM always. They should always feel HIS presence. Without HIM the ministers can do nothing (St. John 15:5). Without HIM anyone can do nothing. The ministers should always be in the LORD JESUS CHRIST and preach or teach the gospel.
Further, the ministers should understand the need for total submission of heart and soul. They should reach a stage where they do not care for worldly things; they should renounce every worldly comfort for the sake of serving the LORD JESUS CHRIST.
As their fellowship begins with the workers of the ministry, they begin to receive scriptural lessons from the leader or the principal minister of the church and are dominated by a desire towards knowing the truth. The leader or the principal minister, as a witness, gives the message of GOD, according to the will of GOD. When they begin to understand what the truth is, they begin to apply the truth in their life. This means they aim at total obedience to the LORD JESUS through the guidance of the Word.
Most of those who are called to this ministry do not at the first instance know that they have been called. But by the grace of GOD, they are led by circumstances to enter this ministry. This is GOD's divine doing. Before entering this ministry, some of them have been torn by worldly cares and worries, some others have been experiencing mental agony and still others have lost their peace of mind. They have been compelled to seek guidance from the LORD. When they turn to LORD JESUS, the LORD JESUS takes over. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!
4. THE MINISTRY OF OUR CHURCH
The ministers of GOD are the entourage in a triumphal procession for the celebration of CHRIST's victory (II Corinthians 2:14). They are the incense-bearers to diffuse the fragrance of CHRIST (II Corinthians 2:14-15). They are the epistles (letters) written with CHRIST as the content (II Corinthians 3:1-3). They are the mirrors beholding and reflecting the glory of CHRIST in order to be transformed into HIS glorious image from glory to glory (II Corinthians 3:18). They are the earthen vessels containing the CHRIST of glory as the excellent treasure (II Corinthians 4:7). They are always carrying about in their body the dying of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, that the life of JESUS CHRIST also may be manifested in their mortal flesh (II Corinthians 4:10). They walk by faith, not by sight or appearance (II Corinthians 5:7).
“Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the LORD.”
the ministry of our church is the continuing ministry of the LORD's church of the first century. The experiences of the ministers of GOD of our church are the same as those of the ministers of the Christian church of the first century. Like the ministers of the first century Christian church, the ministers of our church too are sages. They have given up and abhorred everything. They live as bachelors obtaining spiritual gifts and grace from GOD. They adopt a celibate lifestyle. They are the righteous people; they are the faithful people; they are the truthful people; they are the undefiled people; they are the honourable people; and they are the great people. The ministers of GOD or the servants of GOD of our church have renounced the world and its desires and lusts. They are dead to them. They are like little children. They are without wife and without marriage.
The ministers of GOD of our church follow the example of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, who came to the world to set an example of the minister of GOD. As the LORD JESUS CHRIST was a sage with beard, the ministers of our church are also sages with beard. As the LORD JESUS CHRIST was a bachelor, they are also bachelors. As the LORD JESUS CHRIST has adopted a celibate lifestyle, they are also adopting a celibate lifestyle. Our church ministry of the LORD has been established as the continuing ministry of the first century Christian church ministry, for these last days, for the glorious works of the LORD. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!
“Even as the Son of man (the LORD JESUS CHRIST) came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give HIS life a ransom for many.”
St. Matthew 20:28
5. A PERILOUS MINISTRY - THE EMERGING CHURCH
the Emerging Church Movement is a very dangerous and perilous church movement of this present century. It is a bogus church movement. It is one of the worst cults. It is the enemy of truth. It denies the divine authorship of the Holy Bible and it denies the divine clarity of the Holy Bible, the Holy Scriptures. It is filled with human reasons, human philosophies and human errors. This movement has no belief in GOD's revelation. But, it has belief in supernatural sources. Homosexuals (gays), lesbians and feminists are in this movement. This movement does not give any meaning to virtue and humility. This movement celebrates mystery, ignorance, scepticism, atheism, legalism and liberalism. It has no Christian thinking or discernment.
Accepting the Holy Bible as the inspired and inerrant Word of GOD is a fundamental of the Christian faith. But, this movement has no faith at all. So, it has nothing to do with the Holy Bible, the Holy Word of GOD; it has nothing to do with the truth church; it has nothing to do with the real Christianity; it has nothing to do with the HOLY SPIRIT; therefore it has nothing to do with the ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. "Live any way you want" is the fundamental doctrine of the Emerging Church Movement. What a dangerous movement it is!
The Holy Bible confronts every human culture. Every human culture is ungodly. Every human culture is apart from GOD and GOD's Gospel and GOD's salvation. This movement does not confront the ungodly human cultures.
Further, this movement advocates human reasons. But it does not understand the dangers of human reasons. In the name of human reason, millions of people were massacred by communists and by others.
The Emerging Church Movement hates the divine light and it loves the sinful darkness, because its deeds are evil. The divine light is the LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF.
“And this is the condemnation, the light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.”
St. John 3:19-20
No one should follow this perilous movement. No one should follow this perilous cult. No one should follow this perilous ministry. No one should follow this perilous church movement.
