37.     GOD’S ministers are those who are the good soldiers of JESUS CHRIST

“thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of JESUS CHRIST.”
II Timothy 2:3

The ministers of the LORD GOD are the good soldiers of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. They endure afflictions and hardships in the most holy name of JESUS CHRIST. They are the faithful servants of JESUS CHRIST. They are the faithful soldiers of JESUS CHRIST. They fight the good fight of faith for eternal life.

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.”
I Timothy 6:12

One serving as a good soldier of JESUS CHRIST should not get himself entangled with the affairs of this life -he should always please the LORD JESUS CHRIST who has chosen him to be a good soldier.

“No man that warreth (engaged in warfare) entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.”
II Timothy 2:4

38.     GOD’S ministers are those who strive lawfully for masteries

GOD's minister is the one who strives as a good wrestler, who wrestles according to the rules and regulations of the LORD JESUS CHRIST, to receive the victor's crown. The crown of life, the crown of glory that fades not away will be the victor's crown of the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

“And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.”
II Timothy 2:5

39.     GOD’S ministers are those WHO are the hard-working husbandmen (farmers) of JESUS CHRIST

GOD's ministers are the hard-working farmers of JESUS CHRIST.  GOD's ministers, the hard-working farmers of JESUS CHRIST will be the first partakers of the fruits.

“The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.”
II Timothy 2:6
“Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour. For we are labourers together with GOD: ye are GOD’s husbandry, ...”
I Corinthians 3:8-9

40.     GOD’S ministers are those who are the wise builders for JESUS CHRIST

GOD's ministers are the wise builders for JESUS CHRIST. A wise master builder, approved and appointed by the LORD JESUS CHRIST will be the head of these wise builders. They build upon the LORD JESUS CHRIST, the chief corner stone and the chief foundation. The apostles and the prophets are the other two foundations.

“According to the grace of GOD which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon. For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is JESUS CHRIST.”
   I Corinthians 3:10-11
“Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of GOD; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the LORD: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of GOD through the Spirit.”
Ephesians 2:19-22

41.    GOD’S ministers are those who are the good fighters of JESUS CHRIST

Paul, the servant of GOD has said,

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
II Timothy 4:7

The good fight of the ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is clearly explained by Paul, the apostle.

“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway.”
I Corinthians 9:24-27
“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto JESUS the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of GOD. For consider HIM that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.”
Hebrews 12:1-3
“Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of GOD in CHRIST JESUS.”
Philippians 3:13-14

After their good fight, the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST will give the prize. The prize is the kingdom of GOD or the kingdom of heaven.
Further, the good fighters of JESUS CHRIST are the good fighters on their knees in praying. They pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Holy Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. See Ephesians 6:18.

42.    GOD’S ministers are those who have contained themselves

The ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST have contained themselves and are self-controlled people.

“But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn.”
I Corinthians 7:9

In this verse, Paul, the apostle's advice is to the believers and not to the ministers of GOD. The believers may not contain. They may burn with sexual passions and lusts of the flesh. So, it is better for a believer to marry than to burn with passions and lusts of the flesh.
If any minister of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is not able to contain himself, he is not at all a minister of GOD. If any minister of the LORD GOD is burnt with sexual passions and lusts of the flesh, he is not at all a minister of GOD; he is not at all a servant of GOD; he is not at all a worker of GOD.

The ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST can contain themselves by the gift of the LORD. The ministers of the LORD GOD are not burnt with sexual passions by the grace of the LORD. A contained person is a person whose worst stinking disease of lasciviousness
(licentiousness) is cured well by the gift and grace of the LORD. A contained person is a person whose worst burning disease of sexual passions is cured well by the gift and grace of the LORD. The ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST are concerned about absolute containment.

43.    GOD’S ministers are those who have received the grace of GOD

“but by the grace of GOD I am what I am: and HIS grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of GOD which was with me.” I Corinthians 15:10

“Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of GOD given unto me by the effectual working of HIS power. Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of CHRIST.” Ephesians 3:7-8

“Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in CHRIST JESUS.”
II Timothy 2:1

The ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST must be strong in the grace that is in CHRIST JESUS. They must be the servants of the glorious gospel of the LORD JESUS CHRIST by the gift of HIS grace.  They must do the LORD's ministry by the grace of the LORD.

The ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST have taken up the LORD's ministry by the grace and guidance of the LORD. They are not doing their LORD's ministry by the grace and guidance of their wives or husbands. Some people think that the gift of GOD's grace to a minister of GOD is a wife or husband. This is absurd. The servants of GOD are those who do not seek a wife or husband.

The ministers of the LORD GOD are living by the grace of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. The grace of the LORD is always with them. As they humble themselves by fasting and continue to wait upon the LORD in fervent prayers and worship, day and night, without ceasing, GOD's irresistible grace abounds in them.

No one should frustrate (set aside) the grace of GOD. Paul, the apostle says,

“I do not frustrate the grace of GOD: ...”
Galatians 2:21

44.     GOD’S ministers are those who follow JESUS CHRIST

Our LORD JESUS CHRIST has opened HIS most holy mouth and said,

“If any man serve ME, let him follow ME; and where I am, there shall also MY servant be: if any man serve ME, him will MY FATHER honour.” St. John 12:26

‘MY FATHER’ refers to the LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF.

“Then said JESUS unto HIS disciples, If any man will come after ME, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow ME.” St. Matthew 16:24

“And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after ME, cannot be MY disciple.”
St. Luke 14:27

‘His cross’ means one’s sufferings for the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

The ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST or the disciples of the LORD are those who refuse their own claims upon themselves, those who suffer for the LORD JESUS CHRIST and those who follow the LORD JESUS CHRIST. The followers of the LORD JESUS CHRIST or the disciples of the LORD JESUS CHRIST or the ministers of the LORD JESUS CHRIST or the servants of the LORD JESUS CHRIST abide in their Master's words always.
Again, our LORD JESUS CHRIST has opened HIS most holy mouth and said,

“If ye continue (abide) in MY word, then are ye MY disciples indeed.”
St. John 8:31

45.     GOD’S ministers are those who are honoured by GOD, the FATHER

The ministry of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is honourable. Hence, the ministers of the LORD GOD are honoured by GOD, the FATHER.  GOD, the FATHER is the LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF. See St. John 12:26; Hebrews 5:4.

The ministers of the LORD GOD are sacred and holy. They live a sacrificial life. They dedicate and sacrifice their lives to the LORD GOD. Hence, they are honoured by GOD, the FATHER.

46.     GOD’S ministers are HIS first-born, higher than the kings of the earth

“he shall cry unto ME, Thou art my father, my GOD, and the rock of my salvation. Also I will make him MY firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.”
Psalm 89:26-27

“Call unto ME, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
 Jeremiah 33:3

The ministers of the LORD GOD continuously call out to the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Hence, HE makes them HIS first-born, the most exalted of the kings of the earth. HE shows them great and unsearchable things they do not know.

47.     GOD’S ministers are those who are very great by FAITH

The ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST are very great by faith. Moses, the servant of the LORD GOD was very great by faith.

“By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of GOD, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of CHRIST greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible. Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.”
Hebrews 11:24-29
“...Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh’s servants, and in the sight of the people.”
Exodus 11:3

48.     GOD’S ministers are those who are faithful

The ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST are faithful in words and deeds. They are also truthful in words and deeds. They are faithful in their dedicated life as sages; they are faithful in their prayer life; they are faithful in their holy life; they are faithful in their humility; they are faithful in their obedience; they are faithful in their sufferings; they are faithful in love; they are faithful in fellowship; they are faithful in doing the will of GOD; they are faithful in faith; and they are faithful in all other things relating to the LORD GOD. The faithful people are appointed by the LORD GOD for HIS ministry.

“And I thank CHRIST JESUS our LORD, who hath enabled me, for that HE counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry.”
I Timothy 1:12

The faithful ministers of the LORD GOD are richly blessed by HIM.  The LORD GOD delights in people who are truthful.

“A faithful man shall abound with blessings: ...”
Proverbs 28:20
“Lying lips are abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly are HIS delight.”
Proverbs 12:22

“...But a faithful man who can find?Proverbs 20:6

It is the most important duty of everyone to seek and find a faithful man to follow the LORD JESUS CHRIST, viz., a faithful servant of GOD to follow the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST.

49.     GOD’S ministers are those who are holy, righteous AND blameless

“ye are witnesses, and GOD also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe.”
 I Thessalonians 2:10

The ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST should be holy, just and blameless. They must be witnessed by GOD; they must be witnessed by the truth; and they must be witnessed by all.

“Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.”
III John 12

50.    GOD’S ministers are those who are entrusted with THE gospel and are approved by GOD to speak the gospel

“For our exhortation was not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile: But as we were allowed of GOD to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but GOD, which trieth our hearts. For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloak of covetousness; GOD is witness.”
 I Thessalonians 2:3-5

The ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST are entrusted with the gospel. They are approved by GOD to speak the gospel. They are strictly honest in everything. They are the upright people. Their ways are undefiled. They walk according to the law of the LORD. They are the blessed.

“Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.”
Psalm 119:1

The wicked or the unsaved or the sinners should not preach the gospel, the word of GOD, since they are not entrusted with the gospel and they are not approved by GOD to speak the gospel. They are dishonest in everything. They are not the upright people. Their ways are defiled. They do not walk according to the law of the LORD. They are the cursed.

“But unto the wicked GOD saith, What hast thou to do to declare MY statutes, or that thou shouldest take MY covenant in thy mouth? Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest MY words behind thee. When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother’s son. These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. Now consider this, ye that forget GOD, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.”
Psalm 50:16-22

51.     GOD’S ministers are those who are having prayer life

In prayer, there is life. Life is in prayer. The LORD JESUS CHRIST, who came into the world as an example to the ministers of the LORD GOD, led a prayer life. HE went up on a mountain and prayed.

“And when HE had sent the multitudes away, HE went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, HE was there alone.”
St. Matthew 14:23

Further, the LORD JESUS CHRIST fell on the ground and prayed.  HE fell on HIS face and prayed. HE knelt down and prayed.

“And HE went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed ...” St. Mark 14:35

“And HE went a little farther, and fell on HIS face, and prayed, ...” St. Matthew 26:39

“And HE was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed.” St. Luke 22:41

“And being in an agony HE prayed more earnestly: and HIS sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.” St. Luke 22:44

“Who in the days of HIS flesh, when HE had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto HIM that was able to save HIM from death, and was heard in that HE feared.” Hebrews 5:7

The ministers of the LORD GOD should offer this kind of prayers and supplications to GOD. Then only they can be steadfast in CHRIST. Prayer purifies and sanctifies and strengthens their whole spirit and soul and body. Prayer preserves them blameless unto the coming of CHRIST (I Thessalonians 5:23). Our LORD JESUS CHRIST has said,

“Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man (the lord jesus christ).”
St. Luke 21:36

To stand before the LORD JESUS CHRIST and to escape all that is about to happen, prayer life is very essential. In the first century Christian church, the believers and the ministers of the LORD GOD devoted themselves to prayer. They prayed in the Spirit. They prayed in the Holy Spirit.

“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.”  Acts 2:42

“Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints.” Ephesians 6:18"

“But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost (the Holy Spirit).”
Jude 20

52.     GOD’S ministers are those who have received the Holy Spirit of GOD

“But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost (the Holy Spirit) is come upon
you: ...” Acts 1:8

The Holy Spirit is the holy power or the holy strength of the LORD. Any minister of GOD, who does not possess the Holy Spirit, cannot be a true minister of GOD; he cannot reveal himself a true minister of GOD; he cannot pray in the Holy Spirit as mentioned in the Holy Bible.

Further, any minister of the LORD GOD who does not have the Spirit of CHRIST (the Holy Spirit of the LORD), does not belong to CHRIST. Hence, he is not at all a Christian; he is not at all a spiritual man; he is not at all a man of CHRIST, the GOD.

“But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of GOD dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of CHRIST, he is none of HIS.”
Romans 8:9

The ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST should receive the Holy Spirit of the LORD GOD, to do the ministry of GOD. Except by the Holy Spirit, no one can say or preach, "JESUS is the LORD".  Those who have not received the Holy Spirit of GOD should not preach that JESUS is the LORD. Those who have not received the Holy Spirit of GOD, should not call GOD, "ABBA, FATHER".

“...No man can say that JESUS is the LORD, but by the Holy Ghost (the Holy Spirit).”
I Corinthians 12:3

“And because ye are sons, GOD hath sent forth the Spirit of HIS Son into your hearts, crying, ABBA, FATHER.”  Galatians 4:6

53.     GOD’S ministers are those who are dead to ten things

the ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST are dead to ten things. They are:

1.      They are dead to sins. They live for righteousness.
“Who HIS own self bare our sins in HIS own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
 I Peter 2:24

2.      They are dead to their own will. See I Corinthians 7:37. They always do the will of GOD.

3.      They are dead to their pride. They are dead to the world of pride, viz., ' I '.
“I am crucified with CHRIST: nevertheless I live: yet not I, but CHRIST liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of GOD, who loved me, and gave HIMSELF for me.”
Galatians 2:20

4.      They are dead to the world.

“But GOD forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.”
Galatians 6:14
5.      They are dead to their flesh.
“And they that are CHRIST’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.”
Galatians 5:24

6.      They are dead to their flesh with its affections and lusts (passions and desires). See Galatians 5:24.

7.      They are dead with CHRIST to the rudiments of the world (the worldly principles).
“Wherefore if ye be dead with CHRIST from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances.” Colossians 2:20
8.      They are dead to the natural man.
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of GOD: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”    I Corinthians 2:14

9.      They are dead to the law (of the Old Testament).

“For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto GOD.”
Galatians 2:19

In the Old Testament it has been said,

“And if any mischief follow, then thou shalt give life for life, Eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, Burning for burning, wound for wound, stripe for stripe.” Exodus 21:23-25

In the New Testament it has been said,
“Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, ...” Romans 12:19

Again, our LORD JESUS CHRIST has said,
“Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.” St. Matthew 5:38-39

10.    They are dead to unbelief. See Galatians 2:20. They should live by faith.
“Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.” Hebrews 10:38

They should believe the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST with all their heart. See Acts 8:37. They should also believe that the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is the healer and HE heals every disease and sickness, and nothing is too hard for HIM.

“...If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy GOD, and wilt do that which is right in HIS sight, and wilt give ear to HIS commandments, and keep all HIS statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.” Exodus 15:26

“Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases.”
Psalm 103:3

“When the even was come, they brought unto HIM many that were possessed with devils: and HE cast out the spirits with HIS word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, HIMSELF took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.” St. Matthew 8:16-17

“Behold, I am the LORD, the GOD of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for ME?”
 Jeremiah 32:27

Only those who are dead to these ten things can be the ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST, and not others.

54.    GOD’s ministers are those who are innocent of the  blood of all men

the ministers of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST are the pure people. They keep themselves pure from the blood of all men. They should not be held responsible for the blood of any man.

The ministers of the LORD GOD should warn the wicked to turn from his wickedness or from his evil ways or from his sins. Again, they should also warn the righteous when he turns from his righteousness and does evil to turn from his unrighteousness or from his evil doings or from his sins. See Ezekiel 3:16-21. To escape from the blood of all men, the ministers of the LORD GOD should warn the people. They should not hesitate to proclaim to the people all the counsel of GOD.

“Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of GOD.”
Acts 20:26-27

To be pure from the blood of all men, GOD's ministers should not be blind watchmen; they should not lack knowledge, they should not be mute dogs, that cannot bark; they should not love to lie down and dream; they should not love to sleep; they should not be greedy dogs, they never have enough; they should not be shepherds who lack understanding; they should not look to their own way, for their own gain; and they should not be drunkards or gluttons.

“His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber. Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter. Come ye, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and to morrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.”  Isaiah 56:10-12

55.     GOD’S ministers are the stewards of the mysteries OF god

“let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of CHRIST, and stewards of the mysteries of GOD. Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.”
 I Corinthians 4:1-2

Steward is a person employed to manage another's property. Who are these stewards? These stewards are the ministers of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. These stewards are the stewards of the mysteries of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST. These stewards are the stewards of the mysteries of heaven, the kingdom of GOD. These stewards are the employees of the LORD GOD to safeguard the mysteries of the LORD GOD. These stewards are the employees of the LORD GOD to safeguard the mysteries of heaven, the kingdom of heaven.

What are the mysteries of GOD? CHRIST, the GOD is the mystery.  GOD, the FATHER is the mystery; GOD is the mystery (Colossians 2:2; 4:3 and Ephesians 3:4). The word of GOD is the mystery, which has been kept hidden for ages and generations (Colossians 1:25-26). The glorious and the everlasting gospel of the blessed GOD is the mystery (I Timothy 1:11; Revelation 14:6 and Ephesians 6:19). Godliness is the mystery (I Timothy 3:16). The faith is the mystery, i.e., the life by faith is the mystery (I Timothy 3:9). The kingdom of heaven or the kingdom of GOD is the mystery (St. Matthew 13:11).

The Holy Bible of the most holy GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST contains all the mysteries of the LORD GOD. It contains all the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven or the kingdom of GOD. All the mysteries are contained in the holy scripture of the most holy LORD.  The minister of the LORD GOD is the steward of all these mysteries.  This steward should not be a liar. He must be found faithful always.

56.     GOD’S ministers are the officials of the LORD GOD

“Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of GOD which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of GOD; Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to HIS saints.”
Colossians 1:25-26

The ministers of the LORD GOD are appointed by the LORD JESUS CHRIST, as HIS officials. They are the officials of the LORD GOD in heaven. They are the officials of heaven, the kingdom of GOD. They are the officials of the LORD of lords. They are the officials of the KING of kings. They are the honourable officials of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST. They are the honourable officials of heaven, the kingdom of GOD. Their government is in heaven. They are governed by the heavenly government. They are working under the heavenly government. They are doing the heavenly work of the heavenly GOD.  The LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST is the only Potentate or only Ruler of the heavenly government.

The profession of the ministers of the LORD GOD is the heavenly profession. It is not a worldly profession. It is a uniquely high profession. No worldly profession is higher than this heavenly profession.  Any worldly profession is not equivalent to this heavenly profession.

In order to be engaged in a worldly profession, certain worldly qualification, training and experience are essential. But, in order to fulfil the needs of this heavenly profession, the ministers of the LORD GOD should possess the gift of the grace of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Without the gift of the grace of the LORD, no one can serve in the ministry of the LORD GOD. The gift of the grace of the LORD JESUS CHRIST is the most essential qualification for the ministers of GOD, to function and perform effectively in the ministry of GOD. They should be strong in the grace that is in CHRIST JESUS.

Living as a sage without any encumbrances, without wife and living as a sage without marriage and living as a sage like a little child are the most essential trainings for the ministers of GOD, to continue in the ministry of GOD.

Continuing steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship and in Breaking of Bread and in prayers; and growing in grace and in the knowledge of the LORD JESUS CHRIST are the most essential experiences for the ministers of GOD, to do the ministry of GOD. 'Breaking of Bread' means 'the LORD's Supper' or 'the Holy Communion'.

“And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” Acts 2:42

“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. To HIM be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”
II Peter 3:18

Further, the fitness for office is essential for a worldly worker for his worldly profession. If he is unfit to do his profession, his profession will be taken away from him and he will be ousted or removed from his service. Like that, if any minister of the LORD GOD is unfit to be HIS minister, his ministership will be taken away from him. Since he is a worthless or unprofitable servant, he will be thrown into outer darkness, the hell.

“And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”  St. Matthew 25:30

57.     GOD’S ministers are those who do the will of GOD, the FATHER

Our LORD JESUS CHRIST has opened HIS most holy mouth and said,

“not every one that saith unto ME, LORD, LORD, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of MY FATHER which is in heaven. Many will say to ME in that day, LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from ME, ye that work iniquity.”
St. Matthew 7:21-23

Only a genuinely saved person can do the will of GOD. The will of GOD, the FATHER towards HIS servants is that they should obey HIS glorious call and they should continually live as pure Christian monks and nuns. GOD, the FATHER is the LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF. Those who do the will of GOD, the FATHER who is in heaven, will enter into the kingdom of heaven. Those who do not do the will of GOD will be thrown into hell, the fiery lake of burning sulphur.

58.     GOD’S ministers are those who turn away from wickedness

“Nevertheless the foundation of GOD standeth sure, having this seal, The LORD knoweth them that are HIS. And, Let every one that nameth the name of CHRIST depart from iniquity.” II Timothy 2:19

GOD's ministers who pronounce and declare the most holy name of CHRIST, the most high GOD must turn away from wickedness.  They must depart from iniquity. GOD's ministers who announce the most holy name of CHRIST, the most high GOD must turn away from wickedness. GOD's ministers who preach the most holy name of CHRIST, the most high GOD must turn away from wickedness. GOD's ministers who preach in the most holy name of CHRIST, the most high GOD must turn away from wickedness.

“But unto the wicked GOD saith, What hast thou to do to declare MY statutes, or that thou shouldest take MY covenant in thy mouth? Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit.”
Psalm 50:16, 19

The wicked people or the unsaved people or the sinners have no right to declare GOD's laws or statutes and they have no right to take HIS covenant in their mouth. The wicked people use their mouth for evil and they frame their tongue to deceit.

Those who preach or teach others, must preach or teach themselves first. Those who preach against stealing, should not steal. Those who preach that people should not commit adultery, should not commit adultery. Those who abhor idols, should not rob temples. Those who brag about the law, should not dishonour GOD by breaking the law. GOD's most holy name should not be blasphemed among the Gentiles because of the preachers or GOD's ministers who do not honour the word of GOD in their deeds and actions.

“Thou therefore which teachest another, teachest thou not thyself? thou that preachest a man should not steal, dost thou steal? Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege? Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou GOD? For the name of GOD is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.” Romans 2:21-24

59.     GOD’S ministers are the heavenly servants of the most high GOD

“the same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high GOD, which shew unto us the way of salvation.”
Acts 16:17

The true ministers of GOD are the servants of the most high GOD. They are the glorious servants of the heavenly GOD. They are the heavenly servants of the heavenly GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!

60.     GOD’S ministers are those who are showing the way of salvation

Only the true ministers of GOD can show the way of salvation to people, by the grace and guidance of GOD. In the first century Christian church, the true GOD's ministers showed the way of salvation to people, by the grace and guidance of GOD; they proclaimed the way of salvation to people, by the grace and guidance of GOD.
Salvation or salvation from sins is very precious, and it belongs to our LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST. Salvation is found in our LORD JESUS CHRIST only.

“Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people.” Psalm 3:8

“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the LORD, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard HIM; GOD also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost (the Holy Spirit), according to HIS own will?” Hebrews 2:3-4

“Neither is there salvation in any other (other than JESUS CHRIST): for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12

The most high GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST is showing the way of salvation, by HIS word of truth, the gospel of salvation, through HIS true servants or officials. HE is proclaiming the way of salvation, by HIS word of truth, the gospel of salvation, through HIS true ministers or officials.

“In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise.” Ephesians 1:13

Now, the true ministers of GOD are the servants of the most high GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. But, false ministers are the servants of Satan, the devil. The true ministers of GOD will not pretend. But, false ministers are pretenders. The true ministers of GOD are the servants of holiness and righteousness, and they are not deceitful workers. But, false ministers are the servants of unholiness and unrighteousness, and they are deceitful workers.

“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming them-selves into the apostles of CHRIST. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if  his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.” II Corinthians 11:13-15

‘Transform’ means ‘pretend’.

Further, the true ministers of GOD are showing the way of salvation and heaven. But, false ministers are not showing the way of salvation, and they are showing the way to hell, the fiery lake of burning sulphur. The true ministers of GOD are proclaiming the way of salvation. But, false ministers are not proclaiming the way of salvation. The true ministers of GOD are showing the good way (the strait and narrow way) to heaven, the life eternal. But, false ministers are showing the bad way (the broad and wide way) to hell, the eternal destruction.

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”
St. Matthew 7:13-14

Again, the true ministers of GOD are wise men and wise women, and they are always doing the will of GOD. But, false ministers are foolish men and foolish women, and they are not doing the will of GOD. Furthermore, those who keep watch are wise men and wise women, and they are called wise virgins. But, those who do not keep watch are foolish men and foolish women, and they are called foolish virgins. Wise virgins are anointed with the Holy Spirit, the fresh oil. Foolish virgins are not anointed with the Holy Spirit. Wise virgins will enter into heaven. Foolish virgins will not enter into heaven. They will be abandoned by the Son of man, the LORD JESUS CHRIST during HIS coming. Our LORD JESUS CHRIST will come to take up HIS glorious church as a heavenly bridegroom. This heavenly bridegroom refers to the great love of our LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST towards HIS church, the saved people. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!

Our LORD JESUS CHRIST has opened HIS most holy mouth and said about the wise and foolish builders,

“Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of MINE, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a (the) rock: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a (the) rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of MINE, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.” St. Matthew 7:24-27

Everyone should both hear and do what our LORD JESUS CHRIST has said. Hearing HIS sayings alone will not bring about any change in one's life. Only those who both hear and do according to HIS sayings will be saved. Everyone who hears the words of JESUS and puts them into practice is like a wise man who has built his house on the rock. Everyone should build on the Rock, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, the proper foundation (I Corinthians 10:4). The Christian church's main foundation is JESUS CHRIST. No one can lay any foundation for the Christian church other than the one already laid, which is JESUS CHRIST (I Corinthians 3:11). Satan and his people (evil people) are striving hard to destroy this glorious foundation. GOD's ministers should work hard and pray steadfastly to strengthen this glorious foundation. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!

Our LORD JESUS CHRIST has opened HIS most holy mouth and said about the wise and foolish virgins,

“Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them: But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps. And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out. But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go ye rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves. And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not. Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man (the LORD JESUS CHRIST) cometh.”
St. Matthew 25:1-13

The parable of the ten virgins emphasizes personal preparation for the coming of CHRIST. These virgins are the attendants at the wedding, not multiple brides. The virgins include both men and women.  The lamps refer to their lives. The oil refers to the anointing of the Holy Spirit. GOD's ministers must be anointed by the Holy Spirit. Praise The LORD! Alleluia! In addition, the true ministers of GOD need to render spontaneously faithful service to their heavenly Master, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. The unfaithful and the unprofitable and the wicked and the slothful (lazy) ministers of GOD will be thrown into hell, the fiery lake of burning sulphur. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth for ever. See St. Matthew 25:26-30.

Our LORD JESUS CHRIST has opened HIS most holy mouth and narrated the parable of the talents,

“For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods. And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey. Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents. And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two. But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his lord’s money. After a long time the lord of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them. And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more. His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. He also that had received two talents came and said, lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them. His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord. Then he which had received the one talent came and said, lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not strawed: And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine. His lord answered and said unto him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not strawed: Thou oughtest therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with usury. Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath. And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
St. Matthew 25:14-30

The talents represent large units of money. Talents are distributed to HIS servants according to their own ability. The three servants are typical of three types. They are entrusted with different tasks in accordance with their own ability. They are not expected to produce the same profits. But they are expected to be faithful with what has been entrusted to them. The first two doubled their money, but the last one hid the money in the earth. The great mistake of this unfaithful servant is in misjudging the divine character of his heavenly Master, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. He could not understand his heavenly Master. He could not understand the real generosity of his heavenly Master. He could not realize the great joys of HIS service. He could not realize the great joys in doing HIS service. Now, 'far country' indicates heaven, the kingdom of GOD. 'After a long time' indicates the length of CHRIST's session in heaven during this present age. The parable of the talents emphasizes the importance of faithful service to our heavenly Master, the LORD JESUS CHRIST during HIS present absence. Praise The LORD! Alleluia!

Besides, the servants of the LORD GOD, JESUS CHRIST should be profitable servants. They should not be wicked and lazy. They should prepare themselves for the glorious coming of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, as per the will of the LORD. Those who have not prepared themselves will be severely punished in hell.

“And that servant, which knew his LORD’s will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to HIS will, shall be beaten with many stripes.”
St. Luke 12:47

Further, the true ministers of GOD are those who come to the LORD JESUS CHRIST and hear HIS words, and put HIS words into practice. They are like men building a house on the rock. This rock is the Rock of Salvation, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. But, false servants are those who hear HIS words but do not put them into practice. They are like men building a house on the ground without a foundation. They are like men building a house with no thought for its foundation.

“And why call ye ME, LORD, LORD, and do not the things which I say? Whosoever cometh to ME, and heareth MY sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.”
St. Luke 6:46-49

Furthermore, the true ministers of GOD are like a good tree, which bears good fruit. But, false ministers are like a corrupt (bad) tree, which bears evil (bad) fruit. 'Good fruit' refers to good works and good doctrines. 'Evil fruit' refers to evil works and evil doctrines. A good tree cannot bear evil fruit, and a corrupt tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and cast into the fire. By their fruit anyone can clearly recognize them. The fruitful life of the true ministers of GOD or the saved is that of GOD, and they will enter into heaven, the kingdom of GOD. The unfruitful life of the unsaved or false ministers is not that of GOD, and they will be cast into the fire, the lake of eternal fire.

“Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”
St. Matthew 7:17-20

The works of the flesh are evil works and they are deadly against good fruit (good works), the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23; Ephesians 5:9). The works of the flesh are evil doctrines and they are deadly against our LORD JESUS CHRIST's good doctrines. The true ministers of GOD are showing the way of salvation by their good works and good doctrines. They hate all wrong and evil-doings-dancing, card-playing, theatre-going, debaucheries, orgies, revelry, etc., (I John 2:15-17; St. John 17:14-19; I Peter 4:2-5).

61.     GOD’S ministers ARE THOSE WHO show the way of salvation THROUGH REPENTANCE  AND  FAITH

St. Peter, the apostle of JESUS CHRIST filled with the Holy Spirit declared to the rulers, elders, and scribes and Annas the retired high priest and Caiaphas the high priest and others in Jerusalem the way of salvation.

“Neither is there salvation in any other (other than JESUS CHRIST): for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”
Acts 4:12

Salvation or salvation from sins is obtained only through our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS CHRIST. Salvation for Jews (Israelites) as well as Gentiles is only through the name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Those who receive HIM and those who believe in HIS name, or those who live by faith are the children of GOD.

“But as many as received HIM, to them gave HE power to become the sons of GOD, even to them that believe on HIS name.” St. John 1:12

Now, the jailer at Philippi asked St. Paul and St. Silas,

“Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” Acts 16:30

They replied,

“Believe on the LORD JESUS CHRIST, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house (household).”
Acts 16:31

To obtain salvation, everyone should repent and everyone should be converted.

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, ...”
Acts 3:19
To obtain salvation, everyone should obtain remission (forgiveness) of sins.

“To HIM give all the prophets witness, that through HIS name whosoever believeth in HIM shall receive remission of sins.”
Acts 10:43

To obtain salvation, everyone should call upon the name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST by confessing his/her sins with humility and with broken-heart and with contrite spirit.

“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the LORD shall be saved.” Romans 10:13

“The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”
Psalm 34:18

To obtain salvation, everyone should hear the word of GOD of GOD-sent preachers. A GOD-sent preacher preaches the gospel of peace and he brings glad news or good news of good things.

“How then shall they call on HIM in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in HIM of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!” Romans 10:14-15

To obtain salvation, everyone should receive the spiritual experience of born-again or born-from-above.

JESUS answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of GOD.”
St. John 3:5

‘Water’ means ‘Word of truth’.

“Of HIS own will begat HE us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of HIS creatures.”
James 1:18

Salvation is obtained not by works but by GOD's grace through faith. Salvation is the gift of GOD.

“Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with CHRIST, (by grace ye are saved;) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of GOD: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:5, 8-9

The saved people are the children of GOD. They live by faith in the Son of GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. They are crucified with CHRIST. This means that the saved people have been freed from the ruling power of sin and Satan, the devil. Salvation from sins means deliverance from sins. Salvation from sins gives security, safety, protection, love, preservation, healing, soundness, peace, goodness, joy, happiness, meekness, self-control, gentleness, patience, humility, kindness, compassion, faithfulness, holiness, righteousness and truth.

“I am crucified with CHRIST: nevertheless I live: yet not I, but CHRIST liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of GOD, who loved me, and gave HIMSELF for me.”
Galatians 2:20

The saved people cannot be both a lover of GOD and a lover of the world. The saved people hate sins. They have a great hatred over sins. They have no friendship with the world. Friendship with the world means friendship with world's sinful lusts or sinful pleasures.  Friendship with the world is hatred towards GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Any man who has friendship with world's sinful lusts is an adulterer. Any woman who has friendship with world's sinful lusts is an adulteress. Adulterers and adulteresses are the enemies of GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Thus, sinners are the enemies of GOD, the LORD JESUS CHRIST. The enemies of our LORD JESUS CHRIST will be thrown into hell, the fiery lake of burning sulphur.

“Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with GOD? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of GOD.”
James 4:4

The first century GOD's ministers showed the way of salvation according to the will of GOD. St. Peter and St. Paul of the first century Christian church proclaimed and showed the way of salvation according to the will of GOD. They also proclaimed and showed the way to repentance from sins, forgiveness of sins, holiness, holy life and all other spiritual experiences according to the will of GOD.

“In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of HIM who worketh all things after the counsel of HIS own will: That we should be to the praise of HIS glory, who first trusted in CHRIST.”
Ephesians 1:11-12
